Pakistan needs a man like Dr Ambedkar, who will have courage to address basic hypocrisies of Pakistani society. Someone who can dare to change pakistan from an islamic state to secular state, who can put tight leash on Madrasa education, who can bring laws to release people from grip of Army, who can bring laws for protection of minorities, curb laws that target weaker sections or that ban free speech related to religion like anti-blasphemy, who can bring modern laws for protection of women.
Soft power means positive influence of Culture, Hinduism (yoga and meditation), Knowledge, education, professional people, music, films, bollywood, IT, business, commerce, diplomacy, science and technology, positive view of India and Indians in the World, and many other things.
Unlike Pakistanis and Muslims who are viewed as Terrorists, Jihadis, and a problem everywhere in the World. Indians are viewed as progressive and peaceful people where ever they go in the World
This seems to be Pakistani Charlie Rose, with very thoughtful discussion, which is a rarity in Pakistani discourse. I would have liked to see the full interview rather than the edited pro-Indian propaganda clip.

I don't see why this despondency about India having enormous soft power compared to Pakistan. If projection of culture is a major component of soft power, then Pakistan can have as much - all it has to do is own the common Indo Pak cultural heritage and history and abandon this crazy idea that Pakistan's history started with Bin Kasim landing on India's shores.
