One thing I wanted to add. YOu do not have to be nor should you be 17 to play mass effect. In europe (Because europeans anr't like americans who are afraid of expossing there kids to the slightest inuendos) the game is rated 12+ for "Moderate violence" and "One moderate sex scene" If you've ever played this game then you will see that there isn't even a single drop of blood in it. There is nowere near enough violence to make this game m17+ that's just america being stupid.

I don't see how Mass Effect gets an M rating from the ESRB and a D from CERO. Well in CERO's case you kind of have to predict irrationality. inFamous has the equivalent of an AO.

Bottomline: rating systems suck. Parents should maybe do more research on a game than looking at the box before letting them get it if they are worried about it.

The only thing I don't agree with here is the not letting teenage boys play it part. I mean, the ESRB ratings are suggestion only. You don't HAVE to be 17 to have the game.
