Thats a good question, I don't know why they tucked a 33 behind the 47, might of been for back up incase the 47 broke down or for extra power up the steep gradients.
A beautifully made video, fantastic sights and sounds capturing the anticipation of the trains approach complete with seagulls and not a trace of camera wobble!
Oh my! I can remember Western Venturer so well when she was in service back in the 60's!
The times I saw her thrashing up Filton bank back in my school days! Thanks for jogging my memory of those days..............incidentally, does ANYONE at all remember Ashley Hill goods sidings? If you DO, get in touch will ya?
Ohh over £100 but I would'nt want to make them on DVD as I just wanna do it for a hobby on here, some of my steam footages goes to OVP(Oldham Video Productions)
Another gem of a video Ryan. I loved the Paignton departures, Maybach & Sulzer at their best. P.S. How did you manage to get from Yatton to Paignton on your bicycle so quickly? (ha ha)
Ohh Nah hahaha, it would've been impossible to cycle all the way from Yatton to Paignton in within 6 hours! I went from Yatton to Paignton by train, but used my cycle on spots along Torbay.
Nice shots of the railtours at Yatton. D1015 leaving Paignton - Now thats what you call a diesel loco! Nice shot of the 47 with the 33 at Saltern Cove, pitty it wasn't brighter, unlike my shot, which is yet to be uploaded.
@65hopki I think thats Tyesely for you mate
