  • To all the doubters/hates: this movie has become one of my new favorite horror films. Their mother was so wonderfully psychotic in such an endearing way, and the victims were actually relatively rational in their decisions, which makes you respect them. I honestly don't care if you hate this movie or not -- just give it a chance.

  • I'm watching only some parts of this movie, but from what I see..... are u kidding me!!? 3 guys(1 black) 3 females(1 black), can't fight up against 2 guys.... a mother & one helpless daughter??? OK.... I'm not going to give away anything, but I'm just not into this remake at all. Loooove the Original, though.

  • I'm a true horror fan, and I was wondering if this movie has anything to do with the troma's version of Mother's Day? u know like the movie sleepaway camp and years later they made " return to sleepaway camp" So is this a worth watching movie?

  • @adamjcantu Yes...this film is worth watching. Yes...it is a remake of Troma's original version. However, aside from a few little details, this new version has nothing to do with the original other than the bare bones basic premise. Having said all that, this Mother's Day film is one of the better remakes of the last decade. It does have it's flaws...but, as a horror fan, you should definitely check it out. The trailer seriously doesn't do the film any justice.

  • Just watched this movie last night. This movie did two things for me: 1) left me hanging on until the end (which is a good thing!); and 2) kept me yelling at it! (e.g. "No! Grab that! Do this! Kick her! Run here!") I enjoyed being glued to the action! 3.5/5 for suspense and psychological thrills. Don't let the title turn you away.

  • The trailer doesn't do justice to the film to be honest, but why have all films these days got to have sad endings? Can't a film have a good ending for once?

    SPOILER!!

    The old crazy woman and her daughter and the guy who was shot and about to die and Beth are the only one out of about 12...characters to survive, the rest of them die.

    Also, it's a bit long - the film.

    On the bright side when I went to see it, it was a first date, and I think she likes me...=D
