Man half these jokers never even seen a youtube go viral where theres like 5 comments a minute or more. And you literally click the refresh button and watch the likes and dislikes rise while the views stay at 301. I even showed my friend the neanderthal that watches fox news and made him watch it live in action on youtube. The look in the eyes of someone you slowly wake up is totally priceless cuz there all discombobulated now that up is down and all media is controlled lol. Ron Paul 2012-2020!

Just wondering a few things, such as HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS? Do you work for youtube? Also, how do we know youtube isn't gaming the view count, it looks like you're saying youtube freezes/"examines" a video once it hits 300. Then after that, everything's on the "up and up", right? Right.

That doesn't explain anything. This dude's vid is the top search result for "301 views" on Google, but he's only got 2490 views. As the top search result, his vid should have way more views than that.

What if u watch a video like 10 times cause u really like it? Do they only count the first view or have some kind of limit?

@uhhhhme hmm... not sure entirely, but my guess would be: it depends on how often you watched the video. If you watched it 10 times in a row from the same computer, you'd probably only count as 1 view. But possibly if you watched it here and there, maybe every couple days, or maybe even just signing out and signing in later, it would count as more views. Also, I know there are ways of switching your IP address constantly, which if done hundreds of times, could count as more views.

Excuse me but say if you have 1k views. And you keep watching your video over and over with the same IP Adress will it still freeze? Cause you said it will go up to around 300 to SuperWernher but if its already past 300 and in its thousands will it still freeze if you keep going on it??

@xGoDz100 yes, after the 300 mark, it's all about individual IP addresses. So let's say I viewed this video 10,000 more times, it wouldn't be at 11,493 views, it would stay at 1,493. It helps YouTube stay legitimate, if anyone and everyone who gets over 300 viewers to a video could keep watching their own video over and over, you'd see that most videos on youtube would have either 0-300 views, or millions. YouTube does it to keep their site true and honest.

@SuperWernher yep, youtube basically reads the IP address of the viewer, so if the IP address is 555555, and they keep going to the channel over and over, it won't go up as "real" or "counted" views. it will go up to around 300, but then will freeze until the "real" or "counted" views goes passed that amount.

@KuteShyGuy I checked it out, your "real views" is now a little under 315, which means some people played it over and over, and YouTube blocked the ip on that video (to block "fake views") - but it should be higher in the next day or two as long as more people watch your video.

As for the copyright, it's because you applied for Partnership. When you apply, YouTube will look at EVERY SINGLE one of your videos. That one had copyrighted music, so it was ID matched.

@AcademyArtVenture @KuteShyGuy - (continued from last comment) - So... as for partnership, you NEED to delete all of your videos that have anything that isn't yours. I had to delete 73 videos of mine, which totalled up to 50,000+ views. It sucks, but needs to be done if you want to make money from this stuff =) DO NOT USE MUSIC THAT ISN'T YOURS (not yelling, just want to make it clear) - or, find sites like mine (beatsroyaltyfreeDOTcom) that allow you to use music for free! Hope this helped.

@KuteShyGuy another thing you can do is PRIVATIZE all the videos on your channel that may have "copyrighted" stuff in it, and then once you become partner, un-privatize them, but don't approve them for revenue sharing. That way, you won't be able to make money from those specific videos, but you will still be able to have them on your channel!

Thats only part of it. How about "videos" that have no motion or change of image? Makes it apparent the "video" is irrelevant, and its loaded for listening. So, then, what is the rationale by advertisers on those videos? The odds of being "watched" are pretty low. They'll go straight to a listen-only playlist. Maybe thats an idea for your next song. Keep up the good work.
