you can ring the shit out of 85 before they blow. like you said 2-strokes are meant to be in the power band it actually hurts the bike if you not that's were you get fouled plugs and carbon build up around the exhaust ports. and the silencer you will have to repack it if you don't keep it in the power band and you ride the bike like a pussy!!

cr125rguy ure a fucking idiot you will get water in the air box it will suck it in and then you will either blow it up or have to get the jug token to drain the water out i would know i own a yz85 and hit a mud puddle like that and it stalled after i got through it it blow up the jug got cooled down to fast and cracked $400 oops.

back when i had a 125 i was riding at st joe and went through a puddle of water not knowing how deep it was and it turned out this little puddle was like 4 foot deep and went up past bars and barely mad it out and i did get a little wet ;)
