  • @MisterEvel the baritone's on the 3rd above the lead in the final chord and the tenor is in falsetto on the 5th, I think a B-flat and C-sharp respectively in this case!

  • i love hearing these guys :)

  • I need some help finding the baritones part in the last chord. I hear the Bass the Lead and the Tenors. It almost sounds like Baritone and Lead are on the same note. But That can't be right. Any insight?

  • ryan is a great tenor!!!

  • Hahaha, right at 1:00, when Ryan trills, the guy from Prestige braces for the last chord.

  • Yep, Dave looks like he thinks it will be good. He likes to squat a little bit when there's a good chord for whatever reason lol.

  • He's chordstipated.

  • i love 1:02. thats the best part other than the whole thing haha nice job!

  • What note did Simon end on at the last "ALL"? I don't have perfect pitch but I just know it was a high third. A high A maybe?

  • First of all, Ryan was the one that sang the high third, I ended on the falsetto fifth. Secondly, the high third in ths clip is a Bb. It is supposed to be an A, but we sharped it.

  • @FineyLeee So would it be an A# instead of a Bb?

  • @mattdre88 Depends on whether you prefer having a Cb or a E# in the key.

  • @trlkly I guess my main concern was that @FineyLeee wrote that he sharped the A and he called it a Bb. He just used the word "sharp." I must have been feeling like a jerk that day.

  • Simon's gesture at 00:42 — LOL!!

  • What can I say, I felt that we were sharp, and initially, I was supposed to do the high third... Hence the crossfade haha =P

If only Ryan would have gotten it when I gave him the signal =P

  • Ah, I thought you were just crossing yourself to ask Jesus or some Saint or the Virgin Mary to bless your vocal cords for that high note. :-)

  • @FineyLeee My apologies :) I lost some bbshop street cred by not recognizing that obvious "swap" hand sign you flashed! HAHA.

  • I am definetely hearing some kind of overtone on the last note. you never fail me simon! :)

  • nick looks uberserious =/

  • "Why can't I belt that high Bb?"

  • im still working on that high Ab =/

  • Me too...

  • however, you are a bass =P lol

the fact that you can get up there is just an added bonus

  • because your a bass like me! :P

  • why havent i heard of ryan until now?

  • You should see more of him vocalcuts [dot] com I'd put the website in but it marks it as spam...

  • What an outstanding performance by all of you. I can't say how many times I've seen this tag :) but I keep being blown away, especially by those last notes by Ryan Griffith! Amazing!

  • daamn. That was pretty beast.

  • does that mean you have the video of when you tried to nail the Bb? is there any chance you could post it, atleast for a few days before taking it down :) we all know how hard it is to hit a Bb

  • Hahahaha yeah when hell freezes over =)

Not only do I fail nailing it, every friggin muscle in my whole body goes on tilt trying to nail it. It's horrible in every way.

  • hahaha, i think it would be insiprational to us all for you to post it :) let us know that everyone messes up sometimes lol!

  • Go Ryan!!!!!! haha Who knew??

  • That crossfade was amazing.

  • huge overtone at :30

  • POWERFUL!!!

  • greaaaat !! so who is singing the 3rd at the end ?? It looks it's not you Simon??

  • No, I was supposed to, but failed miserably, hence the crossfade with another take of the tag, where Ryan (the guy with the back to the camera) did it, and I went to the high 5th.

  • lol cool Bb isn't that easy to sing in chest voice ^^

  • its all gravy man the last few tenors notes were still really audible so your falsetto kicked ass and Bb isnt the easiest note to sing full voice ahah

  • holllly shit Bb in the bari loud and audible omg this is the best version ive heard of this good job 5* and fave

  • simons riff on them is sooo ridiculous

  • didn't Simon switch to tenor on the final line, with this Ryan guy doing the Bari tiddly?

  • it was still ridiculous but idk

  • i've never heard this song sung so well. freakin' sweet!

  • Who'll take your place when you're gone?!

  • jesus fucking christ... this is soooo good.

  • haha i just realized that out of all the videos I have, this is by far the loudest sounding one =P

  • Glad to be a part of it :)

  • That was amazing!
