I am doing volunteer work with raptors, as well as a turkey vulture. Our vulture has taught me how intelligent and playful vultures are. Knowing vultures it to love them.

Call me a cynic but I'm pretty sure she didn't fly with the vultures to "learn more about their behaviour."

I'm pretty sure it was to have 'a personal spiritual experience', which had little to do with the birds except that they added atmosphere.

vultures get a bad rep because ignorant ppl think they are gross, bacteria covered birds because they feed on dead meat, but that's not true at all..I was watching this show on vultures in Africa, where this guy actually smells a vulture and comments on how there was no nasty smell, they are not dirty creatures!
