@jakeck614 I appreciate your kind words, but don't misconstrue my whole intent here. I am an honest person, and that helps me to sleep nights. Don't shoot the messenger. I doubt that you stop in front of a newsstand and yell and sneer at copies of Consumer Reports. Likewise, when single individuals, like corporations, develop a 'brand' to simply extract money from others, selling intangibles, they should be held accountable as a corporation would be. -just a wordy Caveat, I guess.

@GuitarGare Wow! I actually know Mike personally. Just in the year and a half I've known him, I've seen him do several events for charity, give up multiple booking gigs to help our church, and this year he has dedicated himself to raising money to build a medical clinic in Ecuador. I guess if that's chasing the money, you and I have different definitions of that term.

...but don't be fooled.

He's an actor. I watched him and dozens others like him on the college circuit. He saw the money being made by speakers. Speakers make stupid amounts of money for regurgitating truisms. I watched his doe-eyed humble act. Just because one is fearless on stage, it doesn't mean they have anything to say. This is also impressive to those with a limited frame of reference.

@GuitarGare -- Wow. Take a break man. I've known him for decades. He is what you see and I'm proud to say I've shared his growth as a performer and a human. This is not an act and if anyone should benefit from the life he lives, it's Mike. He's got a lot to say from a deep deep place. Check yourself--your knowledge is indeed small.
