@stanry77 The artist used a variety of painting/palette knives to achieve the impasto effect. The one MAJOR downside to this technique is (1) that amount of paint required and (2) the time it will take for the thickest passages to dry(which very well could be MONTHS depending on the temperature and the relative humidity level in the drying room).
Looks like a Leonid Afremov work to me.

May I know what tools you use to create such effect for the painting? Is it palette knife or some kind of brush?
It is like using some kind of press paint technique. I like it.
