  • This was a great help., but I found out with the sensor bar test that I was getting mulitple sets of readings. IT WAS MY CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!!!! As soon as I turned off my christmas lights, all was normal....

  • i did this but it still flickers around the screen?

  • this is NOT kevinborke this is mariomeet01

the way you fix this is that you point the wiimote at the screen and make shure the sensor can see it .if you see 2 blinking dots (simotanisuly) than it should work if you see 4 or more dots than mess with the sincitividy if you have 3 dots check the lighting in your room, the sensor uses ir technolagy that will mess up if you have an active tv remote pointed at it or if you have kennect on or any gitar hero wirless controlers on. if so turn those off

  • I'm having a problem it's that when I point at the screen nothing appears not even in the sensitivity and I point everywhere and nothing plz help me

  • That is very useful( I wish I tried that yesterday when my wii was working). I need help, my cursor is not showing up on the screen AT ALL. Yestertday, it was just like yours all jumping around, i wish i went to fix that before his happened. I'm really upset that my Wii is not working, if you could help anybody, just reply back to me. I would apperacated it a lot. Oh and thanks zealousdemon for making this video, it is very helpful thanks soo much!

  • woot it worked, the whole lamp thing was messing it up, moved it and works great, would never of guessed the lamp would suck balls :P

    thanks - ill sub

  • i cant even see mine

  • @thericket100 me2, can u help me with it?

  • My cursor still sucks horribly. It completely disappears when I aim at certain spots. It also occasionally thinks I am no longer aiming at the screen when I aim upwards to a certain point when playing Metroid Prime 3. PLEASE HELP!!!

  • my problem is wen i have fresh batteries and i turn it on it looks like its dead cause the lights are dull and wen it gets darker that means the batteries are gettin low wen it turns really dark but can still seeit , the cursor does not appear on the screen but the controller is on still so the cursor wont show wen the batteries are charge

they last for like 30 minutes wen the cursor comes of the screen

does any body know how to fix this

  • What If You Only Have One Light From Your Wii Remote Showing? : /

  • Just play in a room with the curtains closed. The less light in the room the better.

  • so true my cursor always acts up in some the games that i have good tip i will try it

  • man that was very informative I just got my wii a week ago and it started doing it your fix worked great Thanks man!

  • mine is not aligned with my pointing, wth???

  • They should follow the direction you point if you hold your Wii remote upside down. I know that probably seems weird, but it's normal (for the sensitivity adjustment screen).

  • i put my sensitivity to see if it would work better now my cursor dosent show at all help!

  • my sensetivity is all the way up and it still does not work, what do I do???

  • perhaps there is some dirt on one of the sensors

  • could some dust on the senor really mess it up that bad?

  • I suppose so, if it disturbs recognition.

I got my sensitivity at 4 now, at 5 its a little messy because one of the points will then flicker like mad.

  • yea xD

  • wow thanks for posting this video. I never thought of the Christmas tree having an effect on the remote. My problem was when I moved my remote to the right it would disappear. To the right is my Christmas tree. I put my settings on 3 and no more problems.

  • Everytime I go on Mii on Wii, my cursor is gone.

  • wtf!? Soyoni make a video about it xD

  • ok my wii remote and everything else works but the cursor wont pop up on my screen

  • thanks man that really helped now my wii si normal agin

  • Awesome. I never had problems and I play with my window open. Lots of sunlight. I really don't get why it doesn't affect me.

  • Yo mine does the same thing but when i sit like 6 feet away from t.v it works fine.... but when im like 8+ feet my sensor bar does that did u return ur Wii or is it normal? plz reply!

  • Man you ahve aproblem with your wii, go get it fixed, thats not normal

  • What do you mean?

  • that shits totally normal thats what infrared does (infrared??) it sends out a signal that the wiimote (hehehe wiimote(retard(wiitard))) picks up the infrared and uses that to connect to the wii, but the sensor bar isnt the only thing that sends out infrared, infact ,infrared is a very common light, just that w (wii) cant see it

  • This was helpful. Thanks man.

  • you have something in your mouth?

  • gum

  • Thank you. I couln't figure out what the numbers meant.
