  • I love this guy so humble full of wisdom enuff love for you dude keep it up

  • chickpeas1-15 minutes every day2-iron palm3

that what i do 46 days so far and i have big difference;-)

you can also see my wooden dummy 7 days work cost around 60$ ;-)

  • 1 = Rice / bean bag 2= sandbag 3= rockbag 4= wood on brick wall 5=brick wall

  • after doing this exercise for a good couple of weeks my hands have become harder an much more conditioned...im on to punching the brick faster an harder now without feeling pain or sein sheds of blood...thanks for this mate realy helps self diffence wise

  • when u say rest each other day do u mean do a day an rest a day mate?

  • every one that thinks this is not a good idea is wrong so just respect other opinion on the training part of my videos, and maybe you will get a good work out off it ok... One love to all Martial Art trainers ok

  • You should just punch heavy bags full force and then bags of rice to develop your bone and wrist strength. Caluses dont prevent broken hands.

  • Bricks... like boards... don't hit back.

  • @DizzyDerwish u must be really dumb, i don't think he's trying to prove his technique is superior or any shi.t like that in this video. i think he's just showing how he conditions his knuckles...

  • do u do this every day or do u have resting days??

  • @steven3662 I rest each other day

  • Comment removed

  • @TheMythHercules1 I hear its easier to develop callouses if you do something like this every other day rather than everyday. That way your hand heals a bit and then you repeat the process. Do you do it everyday or every other day? I honestly don't know which works best. Thanks. Great Vid!

  • @gobotzgo The body needs time to heal so rest is as needed as training ok... every other day is good ok !!

  • i lile this idea...might wanna try the sand bag first and work up to the wall or just tap the wall really lightly and build up. how long have you been doing this?

  • I punch my Pillow before I sleep, will this help condition my Knuckles? Thanks!

  • milk makes your bones weak. Eat spinach if you calcium.

  • @pootou ok, then give me an article or proof to back up what you said bro.

  • @deathtoy101

Search "Milk, " IT DOES A BODY BAD" " on you tube

  • What this man is actually doing is conditioning both his skin, and the bones in his knuckles. Over years, calcium deposits build up, and the process of cortical remodelling also takes place. As for the skin, it builds calouses so when you hit things, you will no longer bleed, bruise etc.

  • @123UncleRuckus is that true? lol i am diffently gonn atry this at home:P this is perfect to build my skin on my knuckles =)

  • holy cow what happen to the jow

  • make your skin tough? that makes no sense... seriously doesn't, it would make more sense to strengthen the bone

  • Your building bone densitiy on your knuckles. Good deal a couple of years of doing that and youll have big hard knuckles.

  • Good vid. I do this too. Have done so for years, even before I started WingChun.

  • same with me...i punch brick...metal...iron...wood...every material i've already taste it...keep the good work...thumbs up~

  • @Captain11JackSparrow thank you captain js i always work out hard on my knuckles.

  • @TheMythHercules1 does this really work?, cause ill will try this out my self for a month or so, cause im about to learn Wing Chun pretty soon ya know

  • the bricks on my house are more rough tan sandpaper tho =( should i still try it? but concrete walls work too right? =)

  • been doing this every time i get a couble mins for myself for years niw i use wing chun to chain punch the wall and man trust me if i hit anyone i am afraid to know the dammage they will sustain

  • to prevent deformity, I suggest any beginners, who aren't used to punching things, begin with sand bags and work your way up to pebbles than solid rocks.

i've seen guys work with sandbags for loooong periods of times just tapping it and they still get deformity...imagine what your fist would look like if you didn't already have rock hard hands and you begin with bricks...

anyone interested in conditioning their hands should CHECK THIS OUT:

    watch?v=ulXzfJq3Dd0

  • sorry, i cant understand well. so this video shows how to harden your fists and knuckles in a more safe way right

  • I think punching sand, just straight down into a bucket of sand is more effective, safer, and better for your knuckles.

  • You talk a lot of shit for a person that does what you do , and doesn't have a picture of himself on your youtube account. Just show yourself, and then we'll talk....

  • hitting flat resistant surfaces with your fists for training ? take that video out !!

too many stupid people are going to hurt themself by getting and aweful lot of micro-trauma and clumpy ugly looking fists !! use a sandbag or sth. !!

besides sandbags are also hardning between the knucles !!

  • I`m gonna do a paradiddle...i`m a drummer;-)

Serious this really works for the harding process but you can also use a bit of softer material to begin.

    Thanks themyhthercules!

  • this training & eat calcium = iron fist

    am i right???

  • another good way is getting a bag of ballast sand from a DIY store and punching it like you would a bag. Works wonders.

  • No offense, but I always thought that human bone was harder than standard brick. Either way I definitley agree that if ya do that long enough, it'll work. Boxing for a few years isnt so bad either. Bow ;) By the way are yo from NY? I only ask because you sound like a Puerto Rican from the Bronx. I'm one myself so I should know XD

  • @VicJones01 yea I'm from the city brooklyn eny, and thank for your coment

  • LOUSY

  • @TheLibertard Thanks , but coments like your usually come from people that don't even have a picture of thimself so I don't give a shit about yours, but thanks anyway.

  • No offense but when the video started I thought it was gonna be another lame Martial Arts display by someone who doesn't know 2 things about Martial Arts. Was surprised to see that it was actually very educational. Get better camera! ^^

  • @SoniStreet thanks . sometimes we just need a little patiants ok. there is always a bigger picture at the end of all videos

  • if you need some jow I can talk to some guys I know they make the hebs in ready to buy bags and you just buy that then add some vodka to it let sit for some time and then bam you got a bunch of Dit Da Jow actually my father makes his own and I actually do close to the same training with a small steel square but I only use one hand.

  • your the man, this is very good training, ive been doing this stuff all over, i did alot in iraq, alot of posers just dont understand that without this training, they will break their hands every puch they throw. much respect, i know what your trying to show.

secondly, i always tell my student to puch a brick wall, if they puch it so hard it hurts them, they are punching to hard in the first place, it is more effective to punch more then puch hard for less. great lesson, thank you

  • @ACSSinstructor No! thank you my friend!!!

  • I like this idea i think its a really good training method i might have to try it out thanks.

    - Sinan Besimi

  • @MrSinantra Oh! you won''t regret it. so try it' just take it easy ok

  • @TheMythHercules1 will do thanks very much.

  • what else helps is when you do push ups, do them on your fist (i have do fist push ups because my wrist doesnt align right) but do fist push ups and then do clapping push ups on your fists.

  • @dbspaceoditty That's good if your weight if like 150 lbs then you can do clapping push ups, but if you weigh 200 + lbs that's why I recommend punching the wall easy

  • @TheMythHercules1 i only weigh 135-140 but i started with the clapping push ups. punching the wall is great training but starting with something with less impact is good for beginners. ive seen a lot of people mess them selves up doing this...after seeing me do it they assume its a party trick or doesnt require skill. haha.

another fun one is trees. the round shape and inconstancy of the bark makes it a fun challenge

  • Wish you could use those hardened fists to shut the neighborhood kids up...nice video though. 5 stars.

  • I dip my Hands in BOILING Hot Oil while I sleep!

  • Well I dunno' what everyone else is whining about, but your two videos on this wall-punching stuff seems perfectly logical to me. Thanks, man. I am definitely going to try this.

  • Oh boy , listen to me, just doing the wing chun forms is conditioning, Hitting the bean bag is conditioning, training the wooden dummy is conditioning. Do you want me to go on. Please do your research before you talk O.K.

  • I'm not sure which lineage has this attitude, but I'm guessing it's adulterated.

  • @TheMythHercules1 Silly statement from zyk21, but you answered it well :)

  • People worry about going to defence classes when you just dont need to.. you can condition the body to resist pain over time.. You may get very fat hands were the skin becomes hard like running were the skin dies and forms harder skin to reist blisters. have that same ethos when toughening hands. Being clam when being under attack is the best defense but that calm comes from knowing that your bodys bones and muscle and skin can withstand pain.

  • I've been doing this for a few years now. Mostly with my right hand but it does work. I plan on taking my wedding band off now to start using the left more. I can punch almost anything and not feel the pain. I saw this on Fight Science once a few years back so I tried it and now my right hand is like a rock. I also switch it up a lot and use the sides and back of my fist. It's strangely thereputic. At work we have steel I beams everywhere so that's where I do it the most.

  • Training against a brick wall is good, but do you use Dit Da Jow when you do your Chi Kung training?

  • Sorry I didn't answer you before, but I can't find any Dit Da Jow in this town, but I am very careful training my hands. Thanks again, Peace!!

  • @TheMythHercules1 You know you can make your own right? If you search you'll find some recipes.. I'v seen a couple of recipes online before.

  • Hey, training against a wall is very good.

You can also punch with some more energy to test if your wrist is aligned properly.

Another thing to practice is good control: Start out slow and punch, but focus on hitting the air just in front of the wall. Then pick up power and speed and still keep that focus. If you lose the focus, it'll hurt!

This quickly gives you very good control which is so important to avoid injury when training with a partner.

  • Wouldn't wood be better? Brick risks injury :O

  • the vibration of a wood snapping sometimes risk more injury than a solid wall, and if you watch the video good, you'll see that I'm not hitting the wall hard so I can't injure myself. thanks for your comment
