  • where the fuck is the solo ??why does this video cut off!!!??!?!?!?!? ugghh comon

  • So drop c basiclly?

  • Is anybody hear this shit sound? No one wright accord! No one wright note! You better leave guitar alone))

  • Nice job on the solo

  • It may sound a little better around 2:00 if you don't hit any of the strings other than your octave. I'm not sure how they do it in to song but typically you just strum those three strings only, and mute the center one. And i thought this song was in drop C? At any rate, you may wanna tune your guitar by ear at least before shooting a video. Maybe invest in a tuner at some point, or a piano or something. Also, your singing is really good from what i can hear. Wish i could sing like that..

  • @DrowsyWalk I am in full agreement with you. I honestly do not know how in the world my tuning was so off. I admit that I had trouble at times due to my clogged up sinuses hearing proper tones. I purchased a nice tuner since then and hopefully my newer videos do not cause so much noise pollution. I did post a video response to this video with proper tuning so maybe you can check that out and give me your opinion! Thanks for the criticism and the compliments as well!! JJ

  • so off

  • Don't mean to be a dumbass, but I'm sure Breaking Benjamin are in Drop C tuning?

or is that what you were explaining when you said to tune to drop D then all strings drop once.. is that how you get Drop C?

  • @LegendsofGH I think it's what is commonly called drop C, but is a little of a misnomer.

  • Cool man, thanks for your time!

  • request request sing man sing :D

  • Very nice cover, I would really, really appreciate it if you could just listen to my songs and tell me your opinion, because i would really love some tips! anyways i haven't done any vocal lessons but i play the guitar for 5 years, so please tell me if you like the melody for my both songs! Put on the search bar "Aggelos Malakondas" and they will appear, they are studio made so they won't waste your time! :) thanks a lot keep it up! :D

  • personally I play this acoustic in drop d because I like the sound better, but great job regardless

  • So would that be a drop "C" tuning? or just a drop "D" tuning down one step?

  • @roubaix94 same thing

  • so jus standard D tuning?

  • @risinglegend09 no its drop C

  • Does it sound so tinny because you aren't detuned enough, or do you have to strike the bass and then the power chord? Sounds kinda off to me.

  • @baadshepherd I was out of tune on this one! I have since posted a video response to this video of me playing it in tune!! Check it out and let me know if it is better!

  • Awesome :D thank you ^^ could you make same tutorial for spin you around - puddle of mudd or maybe write me chords? If u would know how to play it :P

  • Im pretty much a Newbie, and i have a Question.

    You're using Steel Strings right?

Do you think i can play this song with no trouble and make it sound like you, with my guitar? since its Nylon Stringed ;o or should i just go buy a new guitar?

  • @fadii007 Thanks for the question. I do use steel strings. If you want the same tone, you should be able to just buy new strings. No need to buy a new guitar. Especially if you are new, just save you money until you improve before you buy a better guitar. If you need any more help, feel free to ask. In the meantime, take a look at my lessons for beginning guitar. It should help you. I will send you a link to the 1st episode! Keep it up!

  • @miltonautosales Thanks for your responce, i Subbed!, now a friend of mine says that i cant attach Steel Strings to a Nylon Stringed Guitar! is this true? because if it is, then i still need to buy a New guitar, hope you understood what i meant =p

  • @fadii007 He could be correct. If your guitar is a classic guitar set up for nylon strings only, then your friend is correct. The tuning gear rollers will more than likely be made of plastic which could not support the tension of the steel strings. Also, the neck of a classic guitar will not be as strong and could bend over time. If you have a standard guitar that had nylon strings put on it, you certainly could go back to steel. You just need to find out what kind of guitar you have.

  • @miltonautosales Thanks again! :)

  • @fadii007 Anything I can do to help!! Just send me a message anytime you have a question and if I do not have an answer, more than likely I know someone that does! Keep Rocking!

  • Thank you so much for this! It's practice time now! haha. :)

  • LOL u should sing so we can laugh n stuff. Good lesson by the way. I'm sort of a beginner n it helped a lot.

  • hey do you have tabs for this? I tabbed out the first parts using this video, but figured it would be easier to ask you :D Thanks!

  • Comment removed

  • how many time i need to play this song correctly

  • now i have an idea on what to do.thanks !

  • on the music video

  • what about the other part of the intro?

the part at about 0:07 to 0:26

  • can you not hear how out of tune you are man? tune that up before you post a vid

  • Can you not see that I posted a video reply to this one with it in the proper tuning. I was out of tune, but maybe my ears were clogged. If I was going on stage I would care, but I do these vids to show people what the chords are. Look at my other vid!

  • easy killer, i wasnt trying to be a douche or anything, and i didnt see the vid...i shall see it now then i guess

  • you dont keep strumming the strings. the band used distortion and a deliah pedal

  • Really,,They use distortion and delay during a live ACOUSTIC set?! The studio version is the song that uses delay and distortion

  • yeah... THEY USE AN ACOUSTIC ELECTRIC!!

  • no they dont...

  • Mr Duck, You are very wrong. They use that on the studio version not the live ACOUSTIC version. Thanks for the input but if you think you are right, play it your way and post it so we can see how it is done!

  • Don't mind if I do, son!

  • I am very sorry. I was posting on the wrong video! :-P I was thinking of the acoustic live version of a different song. Clicked on the wrong link. So so sososososososo sorry! Extremely sorry.

  • No sweat! Thanks for the apology.

  • hey man, great playing, and sorry ur getting all this crap from other people, some peeps just cant appreciate good guitar playing!

  • hes out of tune!!! he sounds bad at the beginning of when hes playing w/ them

  • I put up a video response of it in tune. Sounds better, so check it out.

  • Thanks man...I've been waiting for someone to post an instructional vid for this song for a long time. Great job!

  • great job can you continue this video

  • Look above,,,I did another video of this song in the video response section

  • Comment removed

  • I'm not complaining or just being a douche by leaving bad comments on random videos like a lot of people do. You did a good job, but your guitar was slightly out of tune... just trying to help out.

  • Oh and guys, durring the chorus and pre-chorus, it sounds a bit off because he should have held down the whole first fret with his index finger, or which ever one was a fret higher the one he's playing.

  • 5* and favorited.

    Gonna learn this Song :)

    You rock!

  • thanks for the compliments. When I get back in town I will redo the video after working on the tuning. I had a shitty camera with horrible audio back then which might of had something with it but I will try to make it better none the less!!

  • could you possibly tab out your "cover" of this? i think it sounds way better than any other tab of this song. thx

  • Thanks! I did another video of this song, but did not have the time to tab it. I do go over the song note for note after the cover so check it out. It is posted as a video response to this one!

  • dude, could you like make a tab? this tutorial is great and there's no good tabs for this song.

  • i forgot to mention, you rock

  • its great work 4 junior like u bro....

  • Your guitar is out of tune...

  • No it isn't. It's in drop D

  • Well that's funny, because the song is played in drop C... and yeah, the strings aren't tuned in with each other, which can clearly be heard. But he is playing it mostly correct.

  • Well I meant that the guitar's in drop D, so it's not like out of tune as in each string is just in some random tune or something. What I wanted to say was it's played in a different tune so it may sound that way, and in drop D, the strings are suppose to be like that.

  • Well, he said he was in drop C, because he went through each string and told how they're supposed to be tuned: CGCFAD which is drop C, so each string is out of tune slightly with each other. I'm not trying to be a dick or anything...

  • BreakingBenj22 is correct. This is played in drop C and it is a live version so it might not sound exactly right. My guitar was a bit out of tune which I did not notice until watching the vid. I mostly made the vid to help others learn the chords not to critique my skill. How well you tune is up to you!! Good luck all

  • Oh my bad then o.o

I didn't pay attention in the beginning. Though it's kinda hard to hear the difference on the mic he was using o.o (No offense to milt or his mic xP)

  • its cause its acoustic if it was on electric it would sound better

  • bro that was a grt tutorial

i was really searching for one and i found ur video :D

but i dont know y, while u played the guitar while the song was on the background, ur guitar sounded pretty off

maybe that was because of the tuning, i think ur tuning was kinda off

thats just wat i think is wrong with this video

  • Thanks man for puttin the effort in to teaching. It helps me. Ican plat but I don't understand tuning. Make a video explaining all about tuning. I and others would watch that.

  • thanks to you i can now play so cold :D

  • Glad I could help!! It is a great song!

  • hey forget all these retarded comments about how this isn't good or anything.. hey i really appreciate you putting this up, it helped a lot. A lot more than all these people complaining, but hey plz put up more of their songs if you can man, some of us really need it and would be grateful if you did. But anyways thanks a lot for this great vid and keep up the great job.

  • Glad that it helped! I will work on some more. Cut my finger this week so I have not been able to play, but I will post some new vids next week! Thanks for the compliments!

  • 3:11 WTF? i agree dibber13 he are out of key

  • awswome dude!, do another vid showing the solo's or w/e they are 5:48 to like 6 mins and stuff plz :)

  • Thanks for the compliment. I will do a video that breaks down the solo for you this week.

  • Good job dude...except you could show ur finger positions a bit clearer.. Ne wayz thnx a lot
