When I was a kid, in the 1960's, I remember the Anacostia being called "the Anacostia mudhole". Then or now, I would never dream of putting my body anywhere in the Anacostia, or in the Potomac between Marlboro Point and Great Falls.

nice post....Have u ever heard of four mile run??? in arlington??? that place is destroyed...i used to go fishing and have the best days ever...now its destroyed all within a 5 year timespan..i wish there was something i could do..its horrible.
