Sole never rhymes, and it's funny because when rap first made it as a standalone genre in the early 80's everyone hating it said it was just talking over a beat, but that's what this is. I love this shit though. Aesop and Sole and Deep Puddle Dynamics. But not Sage Francis, can't stand that fool. He's not that different, regardless of the lyrics to that one song.

i was at the anticon house in oakland the night this was recorded. daddy kev was in house and made the beat on the spot with his mpc. sole was on shrooms for the first time in his life and recorded this whole song in one take. it actually goes on a lot longer, but kev had to fade out his verse because the beat ran out. amazing night.

@invectrum, octaghandi is my old YT account, but the answer is no, not freestyle, but close. after the shrooms took hold he started pacing around the house frantically & sweating like crazy while jotting down all sorts of what sounded like nonsense. when i heard the finished product, i was blown back cause while the song is one HUGE run-on sentence, he talks about everything that happened that week. my emcee name is "omega6" from Hawaii and he mentions me in it, haha. stoked.
