This should NOT have been the final episode! It was so disappointing. However, Now that Empty V has brought back Beavis and Butt-head, why not bring back Downtown? Start with a marathon of all 13 of the original episodes, then to a one hour premiere of the new episodes. (And this time, have Alex and Serena actually date!)

Nothing makes Halloween like an LSD tootsie-pop..I mean yeah this show should've had a 2nd season. MTV? More like RTV, what with all the shitty 'reality' shows. And every extension (MTV2 etc.) Is slowly becoming the same. It's fucking stupid, if I want reality I'll go outside not stare at a tv screen.

I knew time travel was involved in this somehow. I'm so sad this show had to end. Maybe it was best to end this way, short and sweet and without it selling out...
....In spite of fluid animation, solid characters and storyline, and fresh dialogue, the axe managed to fall on this one...Now we're inundated with shows that follow frequently shirtless teenagers... Just goes to show you that MTV can't keep a good show....it's all about the profits.
@KingOfCarrotflowers I think the show was way ahead of its time. If this had aired 10 years later on Adult Swim, it might have at least gotten a second season. I could've seen it being paired up with the Boondocks. The animation style, the non-sequitor flashback/dreamsequences, etc. made this a really cool and original show. MTV never really liked animation anyway. Unless Mike Judge made it.
Finally, Alex got the right attitude! What a convenient time to cancel a good TV show! And Goat is not even that fun in the autor's next cartoon, Megas XLR.

you gotta keep in mind that MXLR was on Cartoon Network during Toonami.
It wasn't meant to be that raunchy so that's why they had to tone the characters down.
