@PeacfulChaos9 It's a duet. No one can move his/her hands fast enough to hit those keys starting at 00:12. It's impossible. It's for four hands only (and 3 pianos if you wanted it to be exact). Mendelssohn or not.

I'll just point out that parts like 0:55-0:58 (and most of 0:55-1:11ish) require at least 3 hands to play, unless you can get Sakuya to stop time (esp. if you consider the length, just hitting the keys isn't enough). Also, I'd say the first staff during 0:12-0:31 & the second staff during 0:31-1:19 are simply too fast for one hand (consistently), but I'd like to be proven wrong. I.e. definitely a duet.

Remove the retarded repeated notes in the left hand and take away the lower notes of the octaves in the right (eg. 0:10) and it's perfectly playable (see jamu's version). And it actually imo becomes closer to the original, and nicer as well. In that regard, this would still be easier than Sasoribi (scorpion fire). As for Circus Gallop, that's supposed to be impossible

I would argue that this song is actual harder than 蠍火 (Sasoribi ["scorpion fire"]) since this piece has octave sixteenths as well as repetitive sixteenth note chords for a base. I can see why you may say 蠍火 is harder, since it has jumps in range, and just plain sounds epic, but playing Dream Battle as arranged here would be pretty much impossible at this tempo. I'm not sure how difficult this is compared to "Circus Gallop", however, whereas it is a duet.

this is an arrangment the original song is much easier to play. of course you can make any song harder and harder, this song has aspects that make it harder because it is an arrangement, sasoribi apart from being in the game is a solid piece for piano.

Yeah, this is definately harder than Scorpion Fire. The octave parts would be really rough at that speed, it would probably be possible but you'd need really big and strong hands.

I'm going to disagree. This is possible for a human to play, because at no point is there more no notes than the hands can play. It would definately be challenging, but I bet Hamelin or any other piano virtuoso could do it just fine.

it can be played, if you just modify those parts where you have to play those fast parts with chords, "un-chord" them lol so you play them from 1 tone height instead of 2 so it doens't require 3 hands, then it's quite possible

Just to make my point, at 0:55 the first measure there on the 3rd beat as 3 half notes on the trebble clef part while it continues two more beats of 16th notes. How are you going to hold those 3 half notes and keep on playing the rest of the 16ths? Just saying.

Well, even if they have super fast hands, I don't think it's possible to play 0:55-1:18 without an extra hand, like disposableaccount345 said. No matter how fast your hands are, it's physically impossible to play the chords and 1/16 notes simultaneously, they're too far apart at some places.

it's not that i am doubting your skills or anything but playing this exactly as it is written (minus some technicalities) is extremely difficult. Alot of ppl may not even play it correctly when they omit 1:02. if i was to play this, it will just be some easy back and forth chords. nothing fnacy like 1/8 notes since the piece is hard as it is.
