I remember borrowing a compilation pack off a friend at school and this was one of the games on it. I played it for all of about 50 seconds and never loaded it up ever again.

The way to pass this game is just to remember all the moves from yourself (when you servived a little peace the previous time) and the others. You would have to learn this game.

the controls are shit. After dying countless times, I thought to myself, SNK wanted rip off mario brothers, wit ha side scrolling but tried to make play like zelda. And the respawning enemy will keep coming and coming. The only to survive is keep attack and move, even that chances you will get kill. I can't even get pass the first stages.

Play athena for arcade and I can guarantee you be running back to cobra. Psycho Soldier for the arcade is better and will be more worth of your time.

The hit deception is horrible. At the begining of the game the enemy drains 99% of you life. Athena is inconsistent with their fuck ups. After getting the boots Some times you can jump and fly like zero g and sometimes you can't. If you use bow and arrow, you can aim up, you can only fire arrow while crouching or jumping but the enemi archers can aim at you and each arrow that hit you drain half you life.
