My ICS MP5 is way more accurate than that out of the box with .20 or .25 ammo. Have you adjusted you hop-up very much? Mine's so accurate I use a red-dot sight with it...

There's no reason your ammo should be flailing around like than at < 100 ft.  It's curving like the hop-op or barrel has issues. Mines 2 years old also and shoots about like it did when I bought it, granted it has less than 1k rounds through it.

@Airsoft3tc yes. you need to purchase another flash hider that has the right threads that match up with the threads of the specific silencer you want. usually 14mm CCW i believe.

i liked ur vid m8... i have a sd custom mp5 with added suppressor and extended barrel , mac10, .500 s&w  magnum revolver and a remi sniper. Here in the uk its quite hard to access these because of all the gun and firearms laws and the terrorism act but im registered with ukara so im ok. I also do a lot of airsoft battles that rock too and a lot of my ex forces friends (and some current) use these for training. regards: kayak (aka karl)

@thewoonderboy First off, read the description to see where I bought the stuff. And the silencer serves no purpose other than enhancing the visual appearance. The true reason you should buy one is if you install a longer barrel in your gun, that way the silencer covers and protects the excess barrel length.

@GMR2205 Wrong, it is not about what gun it is. It is about the performance. A gun with decent fps and a tightbore barrel would hit easily 150 feet away.

PLEASE ANSWER!!!!!! How do you attach a silencer on it? I take out the little hex screw from the bottom, but the flah hider still doesnt come off! Please tell me, i want my Elite Ics Mp5 to look more awesome than it already is.

@crisisrejects First off, calm down. As you can see I answer questions. You should be able to wiggle off the flash hider. Just PULL. Don't frig up your barrel in the process. You should be able to use some force however. Then you need to make sure that you buy a flash hider that matches your gun. You know, like an mp5... The thread on the replacement one should have a 14mm counter-clockwise thread, and you need to buy a silencer with the same thread.

i have this gun,love it, how do i take off the huge orange flash hider?

Dude I know, awesome gun. So basically flip your gun upside down and you'll notice a very small hex screw on the underside of your flash hider. Unscrew it and then wiggle the flash hider a little and pull off. Mine was kind of hard so be careful not to screw up your barrel. It's very simply otherwise.

Yeah man just go for a gun that you like and if it has a good range and rof then it's perfectly fine for the woods. I still have this gun now and it still works, although I'm getting to be disappointed in the rof. But just the fact that it still works and I bought it in 2007 is proof enough of its durability. I don't even though if they make this gun anymore (haven't been looking at guns in awhile). If they do and my gun craps out sometime, I'll be sure to buy the same one again!

I actually stole that phrase from a Mad TV Kenny Rogers skit...but yeah this gun is great in the woods. It's small and easy to maneuver and the range is good enough as well. You'd think that mp5s are just meant for inside a building and around tight corridors, but it doesn't matter. It's airsoft. ;)

You're talking about a rail for a scope right? It goes right on top, kind of hard to explain in typing. Make sure the rail is facing the right way and that the little clip things match the spaces on the gun.

I love this gun, it was the first airsoft gun I got that could hold its own. I've have mine for about 2 years aswell and it still works. Not one problem with the gun since I have had it. The only problem I've had relating to the gun is the mags I got with it, the springs in them cept breaking so I'm just switching to mid caps. As for upgrades you don't need any, people have even reported its performance going down with upgrades. Just keep how it is and it will work great.

I bought this gun (the AE version, not stock ICS) for my son and it's been flawless for 2 years now. He has several others, an ECHO 1 M4A1, CA G36, ICS MP5 A5 and a couple of KWA Glocks and this is the only gun that has had ZERO problems. He's never had it chrono'ed but it hurts like hell and screams with the 11.1 lipo he's using, as close as we can tell from timing/counting it's around 25rps with this battery. Nice review and demo of the gun by the way. I highly recommend it to anyone.

only if you have a desire to waste money it's worth it. Who cares if it's plastic. If you fall and the thing snaps in half it doesn't matter, that's airsoft no matter what type of body you got. Next time just try to look for guns without plastic bodies.

Great review 5/5.... The gunlook like its got a pretty consistent shooting pattern. I am gonna get one and drop in a Systema motor and other upgrades but I don't think I want the solid stock version.

I didn't know that there wasn't a metal one. It's all ABS except for metal cocking tube/iron sights/flash hider/selector switch/mag well and crap you should already know to be metal.

i have had the ICS mp5a4 for almost a year now and it has never failed to impress me. If you buy this gun make sure to the STOCK ICS VERSION cuz the airsoft elite version is a piece of crap and is not built well. If u buy it, get it from Evike.

Ive had the airsoft elite version before, but everything started breaking up after 2 games at the local field. idk if i got a bad one cuz after the 2 games the gun would not respond. I took apart the gun and i found metal shavings and broken bits all over the gearbox. The gearbox was apparantly not reienforced and completly broken so i trashed it. Im not saying that the Airsoft Elite Ver. completly sucks, its just that ive had a bad experience with them. If it works fine for you than thats cool.

I don't know, usually I have it where I want it but sometimes I knock it out of place. Don't pay attention to the hop up, if you were wondering, it does have a good hop-up system. :)

You could, but the wiring is the only problem. You might need to get new wires that are longer or something I have no clue. Just don't get this model and get the model that comes with the collapsible stock..

I just got my ICS MP5 A4 a couple days ago and there has been a couple problems. When I pull the trigger on full or semi nothing happens and it is fully charged and the magazine is fully wound. Today, I played with it and must have taken 2,000 shots and it did not have the problem. I don't really want TSD to repair it because I will have to wait like 3 weeks to get it and pay 20 bucks for shiping.
