  • Hey Ivory, I love kale soup!

  • The fact people believe only meat has protein reveals the utter failure of this education system. It's a disgrace people do not know basic biological principles.

  • @therockcookiebottom just out of curiosity, why did you delete my comment? it's your right and i'm not keeping any hard feelings, but i've never had another top rated comment and i was quite proud of it

  • I recently decided to be a vegetarian, this video was both fun and helpful, thanks

  • @urgirlcassie23 If I was the only one who ate meat, no one would sell it. That would mean I would have to go out and hunt for meat. Living where I do, that would be impossable and it would mean I wouldn't have meat.

  • @Dracorex999 I find that hard to believe that you wouldn't be able to find any meat where you live if places stopped selling it and you had to hunt for it. Don't you at least have small animals like birds, squirrels, and rabbits where you live?

  • @chiyerano Yes but there are laws here against hunting and I don't have enough land to trap.

  • @Dracorex999 Kay, first off dude, I can attest that virtually all self-proclaimed Satanists aren't apt to hop up and start "eating baby's". Most can spell too, unlike you.

Second, you may not eat babies, but if you drink milk from a mainstream dairy, you are supporting the veal industry. Same goes for ground beef.

Also, I have to agree with @chiyerano - your logic is completely cluster-fucked. If you want to eat dead animals, wouldn't being the only one left doing so *not* make you suicidal?

  • Very cute song. Love it.

  • and don't forget the studies that showed meat eaters had better levels of calcium

  • @plaidchuck I think you mean better levels of calcified arteries from the sat fat, cholesterol and animal proteins.

  • @ConcreteRiver

    Nope better bone health

  • is it true the petrochemical based sythetic fibers are better than stuff from animals? arcylic that melts and comes from oil is far superior than wool. humane, ethical and friendly.

or this only about dietary vegans? because the lifestyle ones don't think "it is enough" a better vegan life includes nothing from animals. Even boycotting Canadian Maple Syrup because they hunt seals. And not seeing a movie because it has an animal actor in it.

  • You two are so adorable.

  • If everyone went vegen... I would probably have to go kill myself.

    MEAT IS DELICIOUS

  • @Dracorex999 Maybe babies are too

  • @WickedJargon I don't eat my own species, sorry.

  • @Dracorex999 perhaps you should extend the same courtesy to other animals.

  • @WickedJargon Well I don't eat baby's of any species... but anyway I'd rather not. We've been eating meat for millennia, I don't plan on stopping,

  • @Dracorex999 sheep don't eat meat

  • @WickedJargon Im glad...

  • @Dracorex999 you don't get it

  • @Dracorex999 Why? Wouldn't that just mean more meat for you?

  • @chiyerano Eating baby's? Dude, Im a meat eater not a satanist.

  • @Dracorex999 First of all, I'm not a dude and second I didn't say anything about eating babies. I was replying to your comment on you killing yourself if everyone went vegan. That is all.

  • We don't have to cook our meat. We can eat meat raw, but cooking kills unwanted bacteria and parasites. Predators have long teeth because they simply do not have hands, furthmore we used our ingenuity to make weapons to hunt. We use to act on instinct but using our ingenuity once again, learned how to demesticate our prey so that we would not have to go out hunting. Yes, most people do eat more than they need and we all, including myself, need to learn MODERATION with any diet.

  • @WTFx89 don't forget, some plants cannot be eaten raw. or can we eat raw grains easy? I never tried eating uncooked rice and corn just is pooped out.

  • awesome

  • I got a thing for this girl!! i wonder if she would be intersted in a over weight divorced vegan with lots of kids and no money?!?!?

  • Great message. Great beat. Great sound.

  • @Racquelle40 Actully grains do have protine search it up ;)

  • its a bit hipster, but good though

  • :) Happy goodness xx

  • I love her eye make up!

  • @gizzysinem Yeah, so pretty!

  • Not to mention that calcium from plants is much more absorbable

  • this is soooo wonderful! :D

  • Guys this was freaking awesome from a couple that is considering this life style Thank you!!!!!

  • so cooooolllll!!!!! love it so much!!!

    <3 <3 <3

  • Awesome! I might just have to share it, but the sad part is there are way too many more myths that people will just bring up. It just never ends. -_- ... Gotta keep hope though! :D

  • LOVE THIS!!!!!, so adorable and cute and with so much info!!

  • Thanks, Jonathan!! I love this song, it always reminds me the importance of vegan lifestyle

    :)

  • plants are for underdevelopped humans who lack the skills to acquire better sources of food. I thought that those humans died thousands of years ago. I guess there is always some genetic leftovers, kinda like an appendix.

  • @paenitet7nullum So presumably since you have evolved past the need for plants, prey tell, where do you get your Vitamin A, C, E, K, folate, fiber, anti-oxidents or any of the plethora of other nutrients we "underdevelopped (sic) humans" aren't able to get from meat?

  • grains and seeds dont have protein, chimpanzees eat meat and they can plan their hunts ahead. we acted on instinct alone until we evolved inteligence so that we could hunt large animals. since other carnivors dont have tools they have no need for planning or sharing knowledge. since technology moves faster then evolution we haven't developped the ability to eat large amounts of raw meat yet.I know several people who got very ill from being vegetarian. I invite anyone to please prove me wrong!

  • @paenitet7nullum and I know plenty poeple who got very ill from NOT being vegetarian :) I haven´t had meat since I was 13 - a child, basically, still growing - and I turned out just fine :) I suppose you were not THERE jillions years ago so I have no way of knowing if your version of the story is true. I don´t have my own version and I don´t care. All I have to do is to look at the murder happening around us, and I know what my choice´s gonna be. Sorry if you´re too weak to make it yourself.

  • @paenitet7nullum The fact that you state 'grains and seeds don't have protein' negates and need to 'prove you wrong'....you've proven your complete lack of knowledge.

  • @paenitet7nullum Most surely, those people you know who got very ill from being vegetarians had a lousy diet. The problem with most people who want to make a change is 1- they try to make it all overnight 2- they don't actually plan their meals 3- they have no information whatsoever regarding macronutrients and vitamins/minerals; so, yes, it's fairly common people get "very ill", because they have no knowledge about what they're eating.

  • it is a choice, not a necessity...

    Great song guys!!

    Go vegan, evolve!

  • Okay vegans next time someone asks us about protein we form one giant herbivorous flash mob and just belt out this song so that nobody ever asks us again! Carpe Diem!!! Who's with me!?!?

  • @Skepticktok I would prefer to use a Louisville Slugger to pummel the disgusting corpse muncher who asks the question, into unconsciousness

  • dumb song.

  • @sqweezel what's dumb about the truth? I mean it may seem cheesy yeah but its telling the truth.

  • Whoa--Ivory, baby

    I'm Vegan too

Let's get married xDD I'm just playin'

    ...

    or am I?

  • Gotta take the B12 Supplements though, It's a bit irresponsible to say "B12 is from Bacteria" Its absorbed in the guts of herbivores. B12 deficiency is really nasty it can lead to neurological damage and fertility issues. If one want's to be Vegan that's cool (what people puts in their own body is their choice) but there could be kids watching! Make it clear, stop the propaganda.

  • @TheSKnighttakesAIM More meat eaters have B12 issues than vegans do actually. Celiac folks & other folks with digestive issues are usually the ones with the B12 issues. Once that is cleared up, then the B12 & keeping it in the system isn't that difficult.

  • You guys did amazing. Love it!

  • This is really cute haha

  • GO VEGANS!

  • go vegan.;) you CAN do it! ;) step by step

  • Excellent!

  • omg so good

  • Oh ok I saw now that there's lyrics written in the description so I know what she said about B12. :P

Anywho, this video is WICKED AWESOME.

  • i love bacon

  • HA! What a great video! :-D

Let's hope this gets some people thinking about a vegan lifestyle. And one more thing about dairy--wouldn't it be really, really odd for a species like ours to evolve requiring another animal's baby food?

  • B12 what?

  • i was vegan for a few years actually and felt the healthiest i have ever been. im now 7 months pregnant and gradually weening myself and my husband to a vegetarian lifestyle. i MIGHT try for vegan later, but its easier on your system to do things gently and at your own pace. :) its definitely not a lifestyle for everyone, and i dont judge those that dont. i did it/am doing it because i FELT happier and healthier.

  • This song is AWESOME!!!!

  • I'm a vegetarian, I have been since I was 6 I'm trying really hard to be vegan.

  • @lachick45 Hey! I have been vegetarian since 6 too! Wicked, I went vegan this time last year, because I watched Earthlings... Have you seen it?? I know the hardest thing about going vegan is giving up cheese. I thought I would struggle, but I didn't at all. Once you realise a few things about dairy you don't find it so appealing, the hardest part is that cheese is physically addictive, cows milk has a natural morphine, not only that but during the process they add addictive substance...

  • @shavNsimmo Yes I have seen Earthlings and I don't really eat that much because I have a small eating disorder. And I already know a lot about dairy and stuff and it's pretty disgusting I also have a 17 year old cousin that's been a vegetarian since she was 12, she's tried really hard to be vegan but it won't work. She likes cheese too much and my thinks it stupid to be a vegetarian but I don't like the way they hurt animals it is soo awful.

  • I adore this!

  • I have no problem if they want to be vegan, it's their choice, but what is bothering me is they are saying that it's wrong for me not to be a vegan... Like we are all some sick crazy bastards, and they are right. Also, scientists and doctors are recommending meat as a part of normal diet. I don't know about you, but I would rather believe scientists and doctors than some cheap magazines, stories, and similar questionable sources.

  • @DoubleM55 Vegan is better for you, end of story. No argument.

  • @SoulAnims Cool story bro :) I could use the same thing like you did and say:

Meat is better for you, end of story. No argument. Period. (So I win) :)

  • @DoubleM55 But I have facts backed up that vegan is better, so you fail hard. :)

  • @DoubleM55 But really its just common sense. Every meat eating creature that exsists in nature eats they're flesh raw. The fact that we cannot is enough to prove we cannnot handle flesh. Cooking is not apart of natures design. Dont belive everything scientists says. Alot of vegans do it wrong though and turn to soy and tofu, seedless fruits ect. We are surpose to be on an alkaline diet. Not acidic.

  • @nextinline777 Why do you think we can't eat meat raw? We can eat it raw as well. Very popular meal is raw beef steak, and if you cook it, it's usually very little cooked (Raw inside), and that's how we eat meat. Of course there is meals where meat is very well cooked, but that doesn't mean that we can't eat raw meat, or dried meat. I personally like the medium rare steak the most, and only cook them a little just for extra taste, but it's raw inside...

  • @nextinline777 "Cooking is not apart of natures design" Then why don't you eat raw beans, or raw soy, or raw potato? You just destroyed your own argument... Congratulations. And "Dont belive everything scientists says", Ok, then, who should i believe? You? Or my girlfriend who studied biology at university and has more knowledge than 98% of all other people. Just go read biology book, and think about it, and not just write ignorant comments on youtube. Thanks...

  • @DoubleM55 Wow... touched a nerve there i see. Well most beans that exsist in nature that are natrually accuring usually sprout when soaked. Also, Soy and potatoe are not natrually accuring. They are starchy man made plants. I didn't mean dont belive everything that scientists say. Just keep an open mind. My statement about cooking is not apart of natures (Gods) or whatever you want to call it's design. We are the only species that cook our food. If you want scientific prove read the china study

  • @DoubleM55 Im sure your girlfriend is quite openminded & intelligent...But wouldn't science call evolution progression? .. Also about the human organism.. How come we lack the canines, stomach lining/acid, Intestines and natruall instict that natruall carnivours have? I think we are just wanna be carnivours. We have alot more in common with cows, goats, horses, sheep & gorrilas than we do with sharks, bears, lions, wolves... People are born with everything they need.

  • @nextinline777 BUT offcourse im talking now about if we we're born on earth at its natrual state. But silly arguements like this is why wannabe carnivours find excuses. But it all comes down to.. Making this place a better place to live. Rather than living in a manmade hell.. Which with the globel economy just about to collapse. People will have to then start depending on themselves for find food. & i doubt they would be killing dogs and cats for meat.

  • The iron in plants is non-heme. Humans cannot absorb it. (look it up) I used to be a vegetarian for 14 years.

  • @TagRation

Non Haem Iron is NOT UNABSORBABLE, it is only less absorbable by a pretty meager margin, the avg adult males 2.4mg RDI can be obtained from 100g of mixed nuts even at non-haem absorbtion rates. If this is why you quit being vegetarian after 14 years it is a pretty poor reason, you shouldn't rely so much on the internet for your facts on dieting.

  • @ghostrj I'm terribly allergic to nuts. If you are going to patronize me, I will give you advice as well: don't make assumptions about people you don't know. Your lifestyle may be a good choice for you. All I am saying is that vegetarianism and veganism is not right for everyone. Don't make the choice on a whim if you care about your health, especially if you're at risk. Look at the facts (that goes for both vegans and meat-eaters). You can only control your own choices, not anybody else's.

  • @TagRation

Who said anything about doing it on a whim? Ethics or not it's never been a small decision. And Iron is found in more than just nuts, all dark green's have a significant deal of iron, especially Kale, as well as split peas and all other legumes and most grains. I'm not patronizing you but i won't say sorry if your for some reason offended that's up to you. I'm just calling you out for not doing your research on non-haem iron. That isn't patronizing.

  • @TagRation

And yes i have done all the research i need, as a 4 year student of nutrition i can make a quite informed choice and also say without a shadow of doubt that unless you have some insanely rare genetic defect, you are completely capable of living a healthy vegan/vegetarian lifestyle should you choose too. You just need to know you're food beyond bias internet articles.

  • @ghostrj I have a rare genetic defect.

  • love the song and beat

  • Very cool. Informative in a warm, friendly way.

  • I have been vegan over 11 years. Everything is true in this video, except for vit B12, which can be obtained from vit supplement or nutritional yeast.

  • @kyarspeyk And how do you think the b12 supplements are made? "[vitamin B12] can be produced industrially only through bacterial fermentation-synthesis." - Wikipedia - Vitamin B12.

  • @DGalizzi

To find non-animal sourced b12 simply look for "cobalamin" on your products as opposed to "cholecobalamin". "Chole" always means animal derivative.

  • next time my friends start asking these things I will direct them to this video.

  • (: Love it! You guys are so cute

  • @zORUSHz Yeah.....you said it they are AWESOME!!!

  • Jajajaja es buenísima! ♥

  • Rubisco...it's what makes dinner! (That's a plant physiology joke!)

  • myth that vegans wont shut the fuck up about being vegan clearly wasnt debunked

  • yeah, those pesky minorities, always wanting to be understood and respected...

  • may i have this just music..?for karaoke?

    great song...

    i love it.

    i'm vegetarian...

if one song could turn me vegan....that would be it.

  • Erin Red brought me here...awesome stuff!

  • xFogxofxWarx epa.gov/outreach/sources.html Blaiming grains is not gonna hold up. Grain silos may produce carbon emissions but if we dispersed the grain appropriately, these silos wouldn't be filled with rotting grain. The storage system is at fault not the grain.

  • this. was awesome.

  • Found this song from Red Radio, any other godless maniacs here?

  • @cronos225 Right here! :) I'm glad she put it on the podcast, I'm quite enjoying this guy's songs!

  • Definitely have a crush on the girl in this video.

  • @schwarzblatt You have the girl, I'll take the boy!

  • I love this video!

  • Im Vegan VVarrior and I support this message!

  • Great message, funny song. Though - and this made me so angry! - the ad that came on before cutting to the video was an ad for Sainsbury's meat. Ffs youtube, why are you trying to sell meat to vegans, you morons?!

  • Comment removed

  • Great song.. :)

  • Good job :).

    Awesome song.

  • That was awesome!!

  • Ive been vegan for over 10 years now. Cycled over 190 000km. Just finished on the podium in a running race this morning. First white guy home behind the Kenyans. They are plant eaters too.

So many elite vegan athletes now. Even vegan body builders and power lifters.

Check out my channel, I interview em.

Weight loss too. Vegan helps you rip up more.

  • frugivore teeth, frugivore body, frugivore mind. i want some fruit now

  • I hate how people say they could never become a vegetarian because meat is too good... so if you were never introduced to meat in the first place you wouldn't eat it? So all drug addicts trying to recover should just give up because their love for it is all that matters and their health is put on the back burner because the love is too strong? I think this type of thinking is just an excuse to eat it and people are weak... people that eat meat are contributing to animal sacrifice every day

  • @MelissaAnnTard I used to say that all the time too :P I've been a Vegetarian for 3 weeks and I LOVE it. I'm never going back. I started saying "I could never be a Vegan because I love milk and eggs too much" and now I'm actually working towards being a Vegan. So, we should never say "I could never do this or that" because we're just lying to ourselves <3

  • @MelissaAnnTard people that pay taxes in the us is contributing to war every day. people that supports government in all countries is contributing to the wars those governments are currently in. do you pay taxes in such countries?

every time you buy something made in china you support a communist state which in many cases goes way over the lines of the human rights. the list goes on. now, i would find you a little hypocritical, if you do any of these things, yet use the "animal sacrifice" thing.

  • @Spintown7 Why? I always thought the same thing until I did it and now I'm eating more of a variety of food than I ate before! I LOVE vegan food it's soooo much better and a million times better for you...

  • @haydenatwater15 Yes you could... it's all about your choice of not eating animal carcass. =)

  • This is amaziiiiing. Veganism is really the only way to truly LIVE

  • Awesome!!

  • And where do you get your microphone? "Chinese slaves, but they're not as cute as cows"

  • The last bit made me laugh out loud... "let's have a snack" .. "okay"

I don't know why I just found that part hilarious :D

  • Wow! It's pretty cool! :D

  • Hi mate, could I sub this video with Slovak language and post it to my channel about veganism and stuf?? (rawtwins)

  • Ivory is hot!!

  • @Tru2DaStreets0718 yes a lot !!

  • Love this.. Vegans rock!

  • Love it. :D

    Good job!

  • Carnivores act on instinct and don't think? So I guess this genius of a girl doesn't realize that sharks actually calculate what is edible through their bite, and that many animals circle their prey for a reason, they are sizing it up and estimating whether or not the danger of taking this prey is worth the risk. Wow! Apparently vegetarians don't think and consider like she says. :D

  • If vegetarians love animals so much, why do they eat all their food? :)

  • @RCACsurvivorman This amuses me!

  • @willstube1 b12 is a bacteria found in the ground. Meat contains b12 b/c cows eat the grass (and some dirt) that contain it. So actually even the meat you eat gets it b12 from plants. However humans tend to wash their vegetables they pull from the earth. So it's washed away. However many non-meat foods contain b12. Try looking it up.

  • I like this, but I'd like a longer explanation for b12 need. Even many vegans say you still need a supplement?

  • @WillsTube1 check out The Vegan Society website where there's lots of info regarding b12.

  • Very cool! A positive and respectful song! Congratulations!!

  • Looks like a lot of effort went into this--too bad the end result is terrible

  • @tomgreene121 That's too bad you feel that way! What did you think was so terrible about it?

  • Quite a catchy tune. Go plant based diet eaters.

  • Quite a catchy tune. Go plant based diet eaters.

  • Very good and positive song! Go VEGANS Go! :)

  • Carnivorous animals don't think? That's very human supremacist of you.

  • I bet she is great in bed

  • Omnivores by definition can eat plant or animal based on nutrition and availability of the food. Humans are not omnivores. Meat does not have enough nutrition for humans, whereas plants do. Meat eaters MUST supplement their diet with plant food, they MUST. Therefore humans are herbivores, but some are delusional and cruel and torture other beings for pleasure. Try and prove me wrong! Remove all non-meat sources of food from your diet. You will die.

  • Is it a requirement to be blatantly retarded and weak to be a vegan? Do our teeth look like a carnivore? How stupid is this girl? NO! We are not carnivores. Here's a better question, do our teeth look like a herbivore? Absolutely not. Human molars are the process of evolution; hence they have four roots where herbivore's molars have one. The tooth formed from separate teeth since our ancestors ate more meat; with less utensils. Back to biology girly.

  • @xFogxofxWarx Ah so if humans aren't carnivores then they are clearly not omnivores. See, friend, an omnivore must be able to eat both as an herbivore or carnivore as opportunity dictates. We know, if we pay attention at all, that humans thrive as herbivores (strict vegetarians/vegans), BUT what is unproven at this point is whether man can live as a carnivore. Wanna try? See in order to prove man is truly an omnivore, you must first prove he can live as a carnivore. Try and FAIL, friend!

  • @FathomlessJoy Actually to prove man is an omnivore does not require you prove that man can live as either a herbivore or a carnivore; as that would be proving he was a herbivore or a carnivore. Don't worry, many people also find biology to be difficult.

  • @xFogxofxWarx Sounds like you are a too weak to prove what you say - must be the lack of fiber, nutrients, un-digested protein sources, etc. I, and hundreds of vegans/vegetarians prove you wrong every day, friend.

  • @xFogxofxWarx Stop me, if I go too fast for ya, ok? LOL

  • @FathomlessJoy Don't worry, you don't have the mental capacity for that pal.

  • @FathomlessJoy Of course if you wanted to prove that man is not an omnivore, you would also have to prove the biological evolution of man dictates that we are not omnivorous. If you look at the structure of the human teeth; you will see that man is in fact omnivorous; as the molars of humans are not the same as herbivores. Ever seen a cows teeth? One root per molar. Human molars have four; why? Because they evolved along with our diet to include more vegetation.

  • @xFogxofxWarx horses have canines along with a lot of other herbavores. the naturalistic fallacy applies to the tooth argument whether or not we evolved as omnivores or not.

  • @twizelby Not all horses do, and the 'tush' is considered a vestigial tooth, as in it has lost it's function through evolution. Much like our molars have adapted from carnivorous teeth through evolution. There are several forms of "canine" or cuspid teeth, and they serve the same purpose; holding prey while biting. Those herbivores that have cuspids are for defensive reasons. When is the last time humans used their mouths for defence?

  • @xFogxofxWarx again it doesnt matter wether or not we are able to digest meat. its still a naturalistic fallacy. furthermore when is the last time humans haven't used a tool to catch its prey? go outside chase down a deer and kill it with your bare hands.

  • @twizelby When is the last time humans haven't used a tool to grow vegetation? Tell you what; when you stop relying on tractors, combines, mills, taps, forks and knives; I will go back to hunting with my bare hands. FYI, humans are not the only omnivorous animal to use tools.

  • @xFogxofxWarx and yet you still make the naturalistic fallacy! btw you dont have to use a combine to pick a berry unless you are super lazy

  • @twizelby So every berry you eat was hand picked by you that moment? I'm sure if you continue to call omnivorous diets a naturalistic fallacy, eventually you will believe it. May I ask what type of bread or cereal you eat? How about corn? Do you eat potatoes?

  • @xFogxofxWarx that wasn't the point of the comment. the point was if you lived in the wild you wouldn't have to use a tool to pick a berry. I never said an omnivorous diet was a naturalistic fallacy, that wouldn't make sense. I'm saying the ethics of eating meat, cheese, and eggs from factory farms is not contingent on whether or not our ancestors were omnivorous. in other words just because nature does it, doesn't make it right.
