  • I have been diagnosed as a high-functioning Aspergian and I am a proud supporter of John Elder Robison's books. I have read both Look Me in the Eye and be different in four days. I have never been so proud to be an Aspergian. I look forward to, if in progress, his next book. Please, show the world the absolute full extent of the Aspergian mind and our incredible abilities. These abilities that seem like super powers to nypicals, yet that are a standard of our minds.

  • Love, love, love this message. Please keep sending it.

  • Thank you, sir. I will be purchasing your book immediately.

  • They say i have Aspergers as well. i relate to how people keep saying i'm smart, but don't understand why i act the way i do. I never want to learn the way people teach me, i rather be alone and teach myself. i have have lots of confidence of my future, hopefully doing things my own way but all my thoughts and ideas are shattered by the reality how how the rest of the world all seems to do things the same, i look at the world and say, how do they do it. I feel like the last of my species, Dylan

  • I am so excited!!

  • I too have read "Look Me in the Eye" and thought it was brilliant. I will be buying this book as soon as it's available!

  • My son is eight and profoundly autistic. I understand him and realize that his teachers, doctors, therapists don't always understand his behaviors. Thank you for writing and sharing this book. My son will probably need help all his life. I have been the most help to him from communicating with Aspergians and Adults on the Autism Spectrum and reading books and papers they've written on coping.

  • I relate to this

  • I've read Look Me in the Eye, and loved it, now can't wait to read your new book! I have a 13 year old with HFA on the aspergers side of the spectrum. I know he is brilliant, and am looking forward to seeing his achievements as he grows. Yes, he has a harder time than most other kids, but everyone who knows him says that he will do great things! Thank you for this video! I am showing it to him the minute he's home from school today!

  • Awesome video. I really look forward to reading his book :)

  • Uncle Tom Autistic?

  • Wonderful and insightful. I teach Drama at an Arts school in Milwaukee. I have had the pleasure of working with a variety of Special Needs teenagers. My biggest push with two of my ASD 8th grade students in Stage Crew is not only to learn skills about working backstage but to have them aquire relationships with "regular" ed children. I find this VERY difficult. They like to cling to me and although I enjoy the attention I really want to see that they can make friends on thier own.Thoughts?

  • i wish there was a love button.

  • i wish there was a love button

  • I can't wait to read it! And I do hear a difference in John's speech, it's more emotive.

Thanks for all you do, Alex, and of course John too! I think this one's going to outsell LMitE!

  • Thank you Mr. Robison!

  • Great job! Thanks for spreading the message that being different makes life interesting!
