As far as I'm concerned, this tune tops anything Led Zepplin ever did! The sad thing is that this was the only cut on the record that really approached this level of rocked-out swinging bliss. During this period there were a handful of tunes that approached this level -- "Curly Shuffle" and yes, Manilow's "Bandstand" -- but we had to wait for the "swing revival" of the '90s before things really got hot.
this LP was all about Plant having fun exploring songs he's grew up digging not some big Zeppy artistic statement just good songs done well. Don't judge it by other music that had an entirely different purpose.
@tpbdragon1 You got that right!! This song and video kind of makes me think of the Stray Cats and "Rock This Town" and the other big hit "Sexy and Seventeen" I think it was!
Estimated friend, if you want to listen again this song and an endless number of successes of the love I suggest you to visit Radio MUSICA PARA MIMOS - looks for his direction URL in Google ( search Musica para Mimos in Google)-. best romantic music of all the times in Internet, is great, is very good ...!!!
I have always been a Zeppelin fan...but I credit my "Pops" for turning me onto "The Honeydrippers" or "Post zeppelin" as "I" call it...either way...it's BADASS!!!!
I'm a huge Zep/Plant fan but this is just not the way to use his talent. There's a reason so many people have never heard of this "supergroup" and that's because as Zep Page and Plant rocked so much harder. But still a good song I love the 50s style music
@iconicSTYLZ I can't really agree with you there. For one this EP was very succesfull. And it really wasn't a "supergroup". It was Robert Plant's project. Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck appeared on one song each as guests. Lastly, I think it's much better than the final unlistenable album by Led Zeppelin. I've never been more disappointed in my life than when I ran all the way home from the record store to put on In Through The Out Door. I heard Carouselambra and was like "WTF?"
Thanks so much for posting this video!!!! What a sound, I can't believe Plant's voice, it knows no bounds!! My son is a big led zeppelin fan I emailed him the video. Back when white people knew how to boogie. Now that's dancing, more like an aerobic exercise, but its the bomb!
This is pretty much musical genius here. It's what I would call "Big Band Rock & Roll". How the hell can there be any dislikes on this one? They must be mental cases.
Please, to the person who brought us this video, change the title so it may be easier to relate ti this great band. Add something like The Honey Drippers
You morons don't know shit about 80's music, this was The Honeydrippers.A Mix of musicians, geeess google iy b4 you mis-label it ff's."Honeydrippers Vol. One" lineup (1984)
I've listened to this album, all 18 minutes and 18 seconds of it, about 6 or 7 hundred times, and just found out it's Jeff Beck and not Jimmy Page doing the great guitar work on this number. I've been rockin' out to this for 25 years. My favorite cut is "Young Boy Blues."
This song just kicks ass. Fantastic vocals. Plant doesn't have this voice anymore. The best period for his voice. Becky just playin the shit outta that guitar!

Hm, guess you mean this MUSIC STYLE that was new and popular in the -50's and -40's.
