brings back good memories. used to like this cartoon, infact it's one of the earliest cartoons I can remember watching when I used to get back home from school. It was shown on either on cbbc or citv in the mid 90's I think so I would have been about 10 years old.

I remember when there were cartoons on local channels in the morning and then networks had cartoons on after school. Then there was Saturday Morning. I know every generation says, "Yeah the cartoons in my day were the best. The stuff now sucks"... but I miss this time in the 90's because cartoons were actually on TV. I am 22 and glad to be grown up but... cartoons now? About as plentiful as a living dinosaur. Watching your childhood memories on bootleged dvds isn't the same. I'm SAD now.

Yes, you see what's happening is Cartoon Network is buying off those networks so that they put on JERRY, STEVE, etc. and stay out of the cartoon racket. Cartoon Network would almost have a monopoly on the cartoon business if it weren't for Nickelodeon, Disney, and PBS...who they are currently, yet secretly, trying to run out of business. This is probably going to be my last ever post on Youtube because of what I have said. Cartoon Network is plotting to kidnap me in the middle night. Good bye!

I agree its a WAR for your BRAIN. I loved this theme on SATURDAY MORNINGS and during the week. The cartoons in 90s were ADD filled with rock before we had the REALITY TV. I wished they killed brilliant person who invented reality tv, but i know they are trying to buy out everything because face it the BIGGEST MARKET IS CHILDREN. Adults spend more money on children and children toys via ADVERTISING. You think the CIA in on this too?

Highlander TAS will probably always be one of my fondess memories from watching cartoons as a child. I use to get up early, sneak downstairs, make my breakfast as best I could (I was only 6 or 7; I could only make instant oatmeal by myself) and watch Highlander. I think after Highlander (or before) it was the Mr. Man show or something. Whatever. Highlander kicked ass and the ending theme did too!

I watched this show when I was literally 5. All I remembered was a red haired boy and that thunder would shoot around him when he grabbed a sword or something. I just heard about "quickening" the other day, and then about 5 seconds ago I had an epiphany. What if highlander was an animated series. I typed that in to google and found this. This is like the best feeling ever.

This may be old news but it's been out on DVD for about a year and some change. Sadly, this show was never completed :( I know it is on DVD because I am staring right at it as we speak. If you own an Atari Jaguar, you can play the crappy game inspired by this series to get the "ending" most desired from this show's original Saturday Morning USA channel run (after Savage dragon) or syndicated run (I saw in on Fox at 6 am)
