  • American, black and blind ............ 3 bigs handicaps

  • Who can dislike anything this man creates? godness

  • If you are moved by not just his singles but Stevies art you are among the few intelligent, creative individuals in tune with life on a much deeper level than most.

  • Is that minnie that I hear in the switch up? I've wondered this for a while but I think it's uncredited

  • Didn't think I'd ever find this song anywhere.

  • one of the best songs ever written!!!!

  • THE HOLIDAY,THE BEACH, LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS

  • Stevie's songs always bring that spark of joy and sadness at the same time. He's simply Wonderful!

  • I only heard this song (album) around March for the first time but it has become a part of me FOREVER!! We love you Stevie..

  • Amen brother Stevie. It will have sunshine in their eyes one day, we just gotta persevere and hope for the best sir. may god bless you

  • Why can't music be like this anymore? This song is absolutely brilliant. I'm 21, and I have most of Stevie's albums, but this song is definitely up there with his other 'classics.'

  • This should really be called Sunshine In Their Eyes / Everything is Happening.

  • I think this would have been better if it had been about 3 minutes long and without the kids singing.

  • I heard this song for the 1st time a couple of days ago. I don't know if this song was a hit when it came out but i think it's one of his best songs. I can't get this song out of my head but my favorite is still Send One Your Love............

  • so who is the one idiot who hit dislike?

  • This is in my opinion the best Stevie Wonder song. He pulls ALL THE STOPS here and showcases all his talents as musician, songwriter and singer. And yes, i have listened to Talking Book, FFF, Songs in the key of Life, Innervisions and Hotter than July. Moreover, i have the original vinyl records :)

  • Very underrated. I'm not surprise my stupid taste challenge cousin thinks Stevie is "boring", it's her lost and our gain. :)

  • @BookLoverforLife Yes, her loss indeed.

  • this was the first album gordy let stevie produce on his own and he didnt like it!! WTH?!!

  • @wingchundragon Huh, same year that he gave Marvin creative control.

  • i LOVE it when stevie switches up songs....he sure treats his fans.

    2:25

    STEVIE WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "we must turn into lies, the truth already in thier minds", i hear ya stevie.

  • very pretty. I always always have wished Stevie would work with Johnny Mathis...they could make beautiful music together.

  • NOBODY ! NOBODY ,but MR.STEVIE WONDER !!!!!! I LOVE a LOT of musicians. There is so much amazing recorded music out there, really, really great artists that I am SO grateful for, BUT nobody ,NOBODY has a career like SW. The amount of AMAZING: songs written-lyrics&music;performances-live & recorded playing; singing; innovations on ALL levels. There really isn't another whose life in music is so vast. He's as critically acclaimed as possible & as widely loved over DECADES as any artist ever

  • @godhelpme2009 My big three are Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and The Beatles...in no specific order.

  • @godhelpme2009 Frank Zappa? (btw i love stevie wonder sooooo much)

  • I actually think as an album it's one of his most solid sets, always overlooked at Motown when it comes to remastered editions...sort it out folks...

  • see how the world spin

sad is the song rolling along everything is happening .

  • Motown really needs to remaster this album!

  • YES!

  • AGREED!!

  • i have afriend who sends me songs on youtbe he listens to-it's like he sends me flowers. this song is like a bouquet of beautiful roses...

  • magic album never fails too make me happy stevie you are a sheer genius that was given a special gift too please many peolpe around the world

  • This is one of the best songs that I've heard from Stevie Wonder. Is it sad to say that every time that I listen to this song I thought of Michael Jackson ?

  • this is one of the true hidden gems from stevie. great track even if motown didnt want to promote this album. 9th wonder came correct with the sample on perfect world too. 1

  • This is very underrated. I heard 99% of Stevie's songs and this ranks with his very best.

  • @jackstill78 Yep agree. I was thinking the same thing.

  • @jackstill78 It was probably too long to become a big hit, but it's incredibly melodic -- to me, it sounds like two great songs compressed into one.

  • This is quite an awesome song, but I wouldn't say it's his best by a long shot.

  • This being Stevie's best track or album is all nonsense. It makes me wonder if any of these folk ever heard any of his other music. This is clearly a transitional album and disjointed song, before creating his golden trilogoy finishing in his magnus opus Songs in the Key of Life.

  • I discovered this album in my mother's collection as a kid, and it quickly became one of my favorite album. Personally, I feel it's the best album he EVER made.

  • 2:51 and 3:47 - Syreeta Wright, Stevie's late great ex-wife, was featured on backing vocals. She and Stevie co-wrote all songs in this album. Syreeta had a beautiful voice

  • I really think this is one of stevie's best songs yet it's not very well known and stevie never seems to do it live! Does anyone if there's a good live performance of this, preferably from the early 70s anywhere? It seems like such a potentially great rousing closer or mid-point climax to a concert.

  • bella, bella, bella, bella e sono 36 anni che

ti ascolto. i love you stevie.

    massimo 63

  • Possibly the greatest Stevie tune of all time! Certainly one of his most ambitious.

  • what a BEAUTIFUL soul this man is he is truly a BLESSED soul im 33 and my mother had all these LPs thanks mom for loving good music and teaching me what real music really is I dont know what they call some of this music now days but it sure isnt real music

  • Stevie's music makes me cry...my mom used to listen to him when I was in her womb...born in 1972. thanks mom and pop for listening to such a brilliant musician and making me play keyboards. =]

  • Now i found out where 9th wonder got that sample from for perfect world

  • 9th wonder killed this sample

    Perfect world 9th wonder remix

  • It was ALRIGHT. Let's not go nuts.

  • wots the name of the 9th wonder remix???

  • Perfect World

  • i cant believe i havent heard this before. its such an honest and touching piece of music

  • I don't know why he never performed this, it was probably never played anywhere, and it is only known to those who've gotten the album. It could have been to Stevie what "Reach Out and Touch" is to Diana Ross. The message is a lot like a lot of the "state of the world/help the children" songs he comes out with today.

  • Nobody can touch Stevie's talent and innovation.I love how it's like two songs blended into one..very soulful

  • Soooooooooo dope! Stevie...MUSICAL GENIUS.

  • I want to buy this album but it's out of print. I can buy a used copy from Amazon but they want $30 for a vinyl LP and $40 for a cd! Thanks for posting these great songs. Now I can enjoy them anytime for free. I think of you as MY soldier!
