  • 3a + a ... in algebra I would say 4a.

  • yeah like all the scientist were waiting for was the answer to this ancient mystery: 1+1?

  • He clearly has type 1 schizophrenia

  • fruitcake

  • No rule says you can't start and finish at a different locality... but using the same number twice is like adding another number to a linear equation. Even adding the extra operator which acts with the first number twice, is proving the use of an additional number. Using the same number twice by adding an operator which wouldn't be used in a linear equation, would be breaking the rules.

  • You got a better way to teach ALGEBRA?

  • You use an old microphone?

  • can someone explain to my why he can use more than two ones

  • Sorry old man but your adding one of the ones twice

  • @Roger8710 thats why he said 3 ones can equal 4. He's proving a point about direction and form. I don't know why you guys don't get this, its simple. If you question your teachers you're on the right track to discovery and understanding... if you sit back and follow orders and simply accept things, you're just like every other sheep.. and the other sheep are morons.

  • @Takiado ummm Takiado, drugs are bad, mmmkay?

  • Good man- your right, there is more to mathematics, than just vectors and linear forms to be explained by our organisation of numbers - we are only knew to math - do some more practical examples and speak louder so we can hear you - to show all these other confused people, what you mean with written examples. I like your idea- it should be worked on more.

  • master bullshitter.

  • So, in his idea, there is no such thing as a singular object, like a circle, but really an infinite amount of circles within that circle.

    lol

  • I dont get it

  • He is stoned.

  • what is he talking about, you cant use one 1 twice :P

or maybe its me.. well well i still stick to the good old 1+1=2 :D

  • lol

  • nowadays everybody wanna talk like they got sompm da say, but nothin comes out when they move they lips, Jes a buncha gibberash

  • this reeks of speciousness. he's suSPECIOUS.

  • ya look stinky my brotha

  • His same argument goes for reading left-to-right, instead of reading triangles of letters to make words. His complaint is linear is simple, and you CAN make direction matter, but there is no point to making direction matter. It's useless to make an equation more complex by having to define directions.

And also; we have geometric equations, they're called matricies. Integrals of linear equations; that's precisely how you add extra diminsions; not by twisting sensicle lines in on themselves

  • you could of proved direction matters by just using division. 1 divided by 3 is different from 3 divided by 1.

  • This is ridiculous... the direction has nothing to do with it... we read the way we do because you have to read in some direction and so we picked one... in till of course we find a new way but that's just something we've used to explain the abstract with.

1+1 has been used to manage quantities... and has proved successful hence why we use it... algebra derives from the characteristics of quantities in an attempt to explain a bigger picture...

    If you're a genius I'm screwed.

  • Awesome but all I need is linear math that moves on that line at lightspeed so 1's 2's and 3's all moving at the speed of light invent that for me please

  • When you decide to embezzle from your employer, you hire this guy to start keeping the books.

  • I'm studying maths and can say we do care about "direction" or "order" and not restricted to physics.

Our current mathematics is not linear, we do have various orders, which are not linear. Check out differential equations.

The reason why mathematics is all on a single line is because, why the hell make it more complicate than it really is? Simplicity is key and being able to describe in an equation is one of the ultimate goals, where a "linear" equation can captures multi-dimensions anyway!

  • its a contradiction. by adding the first 1 again, your're also taking 1 away at the same time.

  • But Why do this?

  • i don't know wtf this buy is talking about. is he talking about vectors? vectors has unit of one and different directions lmao

  • This subject matter is retarded yet he explains what 1 + 1 like a professor doing a lecture.

  • Do this;

    1. Grab two apples

    2. Count them

    3. You will have two apples

    4 Grab another apple

    5. Count them

    6 . You will have 3 apples.

    7. Mix them up in 3d space.

    Guess what 3 apples!

  • @cory1337 Put it in a blender and guess what? Applesauce bitch!

  • This is what happens when you divide zero in your head. Your brain will implode like this man did.

  • @TKgeniusHELLTX hahahahahahahaha!

  • silly hobos....

  • this guy is just crazy. he dosn't understand anything of maths, just some words, and with that he makes mystic esoteric out of it, going into geometry, an with that he will prove another math. but really, he just mixes up mixed pickles!

long live the invisible pink unicorn!

  • Sounds intriguing, but I'm not sure it really says anything. Direction already matters when you include multiple operators, as most people know 1+2*3 is computed by doing the multiplication first. Adding numbers in some sort of spacial configuration is equivalent to adding another operator (which would represent the act of spatially configuring , and maybe another operator to specify flow) whose order matters.

Also, a plane is LINEAR in the mathematical sense.

    What about matrices/tensors?

  • This is disfinity . The wrong side of infinity. Taking what we imagine and think we know and endlessly describe and divide and re-imagine. It is a process of denial of unity and inclusiveness. The more you know the less you know. Never going to get to a theory of "everything" in this way. "Everything" is an experience of infinity. The right side of infinity. Old School stuff. ~ I could be wrong.~

  • "it's linear...no matter how you go about it"

  • but what if someone is holding a mirror nearby, then it would be double.

    thumb this up.

  • He is correct, it all depends on the direction.

  • please don't waste our time with your non-sense.

  • I think he's talking about 3 dimensional mathematics. Geometrically speaking, where current mathematics explains things in a 2 dimesional way.

  • why did he do this while it was raining?

  • die already

  • If he's so bright why hasn't he got an umbrella!

  • i can tell how complex computations is by looking to his beard....

  • I'm glad he doesn't live in the White House.

  • he's still right...stop thinking linear...all of nature curves

  • ill tell you WHAT I DO KNOW!!! this mother fucker needs to go back to GRADE SCHOOL!!!

  • i need this mother fuckers extra chromosome!

  • LOL he's never heard of a matrix...

  • Comment removed

  • When I was in Junior High my friend told me that the night before his dad explained to him that "1 = 0" and said he was creeped out XD

  • That's why we have basic addition and then algebra they're both right

  • why defend the obvious, he's funny though

  • I think he's trying to describe recursive mathematics, or possibly a graphed equation that he failed to understand... I feel bad for anyone who takes this seriously. He's recounting the same "1". If you take one apple and put it into a basket, then another, you can NOT take the first apple and put it in the basket again, because it's already there. That's your 3 dimensional/volumetric mathematics that he wants lol. Simple logic.. As for his request, we have functions and arrays for that.

  • @steveecker IMHO what if his adding of geometric shape and direction is adding quantum physics to the situation in real life with apples where when the direction changes there is an apple which appears because of quantum physics which is incredibly unlikely but still could happen. Your using real life situations to explain the math where i a using math to explain real life situations. (just a thought)

  • @ZombieSlushy any level of logical thought expresses the same end result. he misunderstood what hes trying to explain lol.

  • Dumbledore!!!

  • I'm pretty sure mathematics considers direction. It's called geometry.

  • the movie "Contact" covered this. Australians....

  • If you count the same thing too many times you will think you have more than you do. This may well be why you are homeless.

  • you counted the one twice your just trying to prove somebody wrong

  • if we add 1drop water + 1 drop water we get still 1 drop water ! :)

  • this video speaks physics - vector algebra ( applied mathematics ) .. am surprised to know that '=' means much more than just numbers !

  • Comment removed

  • If you apply this teory it means we are primitive as we speak left to right and write left to right and many other activities that we normaly do left to right

  • i get it

  • @RayWilliamJohansen no you don't!

  • All this video shows me is a part of why this guy is homeless.

  • @tazdevil112 jajjjjja lololol

  • directed graphs are already known and are descibable through known mathematics. nothing new here.

  • Like any theorist, I will take it for what it's worth (worth depending on which direction I take it) and apply this to physics, an attempt to create the missing link between quantum mechanics and conventional mechanics. I will announce my findings in about twenty years.

  • Quaternian allows this. James Clerk Maxwell gave us a blueprint for higher thinking until Heavyside got hold of it and simplified for us the wonderful rigors of absent meaning and listless rote we all so enjoyed in grade school. Bastards like that should be dug up and hanged for sake of propriety and as a show of earnest apology to our children. Besides, we make the meaning in numbers. They're nothing more than adjectives in applied fields. One can of soda to me might be 9 billion atoms to you.

  • lol what an idiot he is completely wrong haahhaha

  • Oh dear God... Help this man.

  • He is right about the scientific philosophy and he did make a good point. you can look at this equation for aspacs of your life as well

  • 1 4 27 256 3125 46 656 823 543 16 777 216 376 420 489 10 000 000 000 tetric chart of possibilities ..also called the numerical dimension graph .if u have 1 number and one space to conceive that number in there could only be one possibilty..if u had 2 numbers and two spaces you could have 4 possible conceptions an example could be as this i am using letters instead of numbers A.A A.B .....BA....BB
  • @illuminati33rddegree 387 420 489 ..I AM WRITING THIS NUMBER AGAIN FOR REASONS COMPLETELY ATOMIC

  • hahaha

this isnt even worth it. what a joke of an idea. this guy is hilariously ignorant. thanks guy who posted this, glad you found it - good laughs

  • 1 )take a deep breath

    2)think of sum1 u like

    3)press f10 five times

    4)copy dis to five videos

5)look at ur backqround 10 uur ge

  • this is re-learned...how do you think the artisans designed and built the pyramids? math! volumnic & planar math! the fact that those great examples sit there tells u empirically that this ain't new thinkin'...uh duh

  • math...like any language... Spanish, French, English...euclidean, vedic...same difference...our problem is not seeing an area of planar or volumnic math for what it is as he described...it is considered physics...but mathematicians should be doing this because French ain't Spanish.

  • Another person who always fail his maths.

  • I like his theory except I would have to add that direction still dosnt matter until after the first computation.

  • "there is no such thing as a straight line" Immanuel Kant

  • "you have to know the (right) question to know what the answer means" how do you think the pyramids were designed and laid so precisely ...ohhhhh so long ago? why don't we have volumnic mathematics? it's not physics...why treat it as such? he asks a great question...that honestly deserves an answer

  • he is describing a loop...closed...don't think linear...think "curve"

  • for + and * are commutative like that, but / and - are not.

His whole argument is unfortunatley invalid.

And what he is demonstrating here is not "linear" algebra, it's arithmetics.

    Nice background music though!

  • @transfixedtornado i dont think you quite get what hes saying, so you think the universe is made of lines huh...also i had pretty much the same shut it scenario in school, i have proved them wrong times now.

  • Three 1's = Four because he used the same 1 twice...(Starting point) 0.o I think hes tricked himself. Not only that but because his made up equation is triangular with no conclusion/equals it would circle upon itself essentually equalling infinity...

  • @davenslice it is "legal" to use same 1 twice or any number of times you want as long as you are using non-linear method. That's exactly what he was trying to explain.

  • @davenslice He did use the same one twice but he never repeated an operator. He did one of the one's twice because the operator in his example instructed him to.

  • @hufon009 well if he uses the same "1" twice...wouldn't that really make it "two"?? SO to express his triangular volumetric equation in the traditional linear style equation it would be 2+1+1=4??

I guess I don't really see the point to what he is doing...what is the practical value?

  • @davenslice Maybe it could be used as a short hand way to identify geometric figures? For example, the value of a triangle would therefore before 4, a square would be 5, and I am sure 3d shapes would have their own unique identity with his system... However I think counting the sides is probably just as effective. I personally don't see the point either, other than maybe getting people to think outside the box. I'd rather see someone take on the question of if negative integers are necessary...

  • this reminds me of a quote "Any fool can make things more complicated, it takes a genius to do the opposite" you want to know who said it? Einstein...

  • yes but things that looks simple does usualy have more to it then it looks and to get progress we need to look at things in new directions. even einsteins laws had alot of errors that needed to change. But yup this guy looks more fun then usefull

  • @Kikkankleiven well said. I believe 1 needs to decide weather he is trying to invent different ways to play a game, or rather focus on the game itself. Math is our too for understanding the universe better. And ofcourse for daily calculations. What this person is doing, could be considered a personal amusement which is absolutely fine, but it has absolutely no relavance to mathematics. Unless he wants to invent his own theory and go from there...

  • He's playing word games. Anyone can come up with an obfuscated inversion of fundamental concepts like this. He's switching between the arrangement of symbols, their meanings, and their relative patterns without any regard for why we chose those arrangements. I could use the same distractions, for example, to convince you that ducks are blue by confusing you about colors, changing the meaning of words, and so on. So what's the point of this?

  • he's still right

  • yes, the direction has a fundamental effect. This gentleman is creating linear equations but he is moving in different directions in a linear fashion. Geometry does what he is talking about as well imo.

  • I have watched this video many times and i really begin to understand the simple truth in Don Alberts idea, amazing you are Don Albert..

  • not even gonna watch the whole thing but a wast of time

  • Interesting

  • repoman-im here to take ur house

homeless guy-oh no!take my house, and everthing elts, just not my camera!!!

  • ur homeless but u have a camera?lol

  • but all jokes aside though, he is correct about the direction you pick to make a math equation, or to even get a certain type of answer baced on certain conditions and the direction approached...even in non-math this rule applies...The Direction of the convo determines the outcome in a favorable, non0favorable or neutral...But in all reality i think this guy is just rambling to get another dollar from the poor cameraman haha

  • Shut up you're an idiot. It's called obey the order of operations according according to what ever calculus you may be doing, commutative and distributive properties. You know why we don't do math in 3 dimensions? Because if you're gonna do math in 3 dimensions you'd may as well graph the mother fucker! Stupid shit, he isn't right in the slightest, he took every rule of mathematics and broke it, thus his answer isn't constant. We want math to be constant fool.

  • yap yap yap idiot yap yap yap yap operations yap yap yap yap commutative yap yap yap dimentions yap yap yapshit yap yap yap slightest yap yap yap broke yap yap yap constant yap yap yap math yap yap yap

  • this guy needs to lay off the peyote...

I bet the convo with the camera man all started at

"hey can i have a dollar?!" and boom the camera man had to sit and listen to this pointless bullshit for 5-6 minutes

  • for those of you that have completed higher math...he is right about algebra is better than simple arithmetic for solving problems...if you studied geometry, trig, calculus, physics...you understand planes...he is right...his point if that linear equations is limiting...planar and/or volumnic mathematics should exist and could change our way of life...listen to him again...somehow mathemeticians end at a place that physicists have used for some time...planar and volumnic...grow

  • I clicked the playbar on various parts from left to right and right to left, I found out it doesnt make less sense. Maybe he was right.

  • i dont know what the fuck kind of rhetoric he is using to substantiate his reasoning, but the world i live in

    1+1 = 2

ive seen that bullshit 1+1 = 0 proof, and how to use a base system other than 10.

find me a place in america that counts in base system other than 10, and ill believe this guy.

  • im kinda dun get it @@

  • duh!...i love this guy

  • wow that guy is so fucking smart. I wish I was fucking homeless

  • I want to punch him oh his throat!

  • ok why don't we just say the answer then get asked the question???

  • "NOW SHUT UP"

    hahaha

  • that guy is... kinda stupid if you ask me

hey! gess what dog + 7 is its 11!!!

ill prove it. dogs have 4 legs right? so you do 4 + 7 x 12000 divided by 12000 and you get 11!!!! YAAYYY MATH IS FUNN

  • yea he is correct if you can actually change the space continuum without any effort at all. you change the direction in that way means you are change the physics of the operator itself, therefore you are acutaly 2 different systems. Of course you get different answer. That is not because of direction but all he did is link that BS into the direction forcefully.

  • Hey I'm delivering a message from Allah's temple of holy cocks. YOU'RE A FAGGOT LOLOL *Urinates on your mother's grave...thank's for nothing sloppy bitch. realgundam has AIDS though haha look your grandpa just ripped ass right through the diaper la la la la hitler was so right

  • How many mushrooms does it take to become so ingenious? n? n² ? infinite number ?!?

  • jeez he didn't start making sense until the end he could have saved me 5 minutes if he just explained the pyramid thing first

  • 3d Mathematics

  • is he taking a shit.

  • Thaks for posting this. Tell me then why 10*10=0.

    Where has this 10 gone?

  • math is linear when its supposed to be. If I was counting the number of dogs in my yard I wouldnt subtract them from the number of cats. with that said he is almost on to something.

  • is this supposed to not make any sense?

  • your comment along with the video made me laugh harder than i have in a while, thanks, i'm in tears.

  • :D lol

  • u r very smart i must say,reason 1. look @

ur get up,,,,,beared mustach with a long hair,,,,,,,name albert or smthing lik dat,,,,,,coz of ur age people might surf on ur site and u wud earn some money,,,,,,good job,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • adk977 (part 1)

We have to do this to maintain the uniqueness and consistency of calculation for our routine dealings and economics. We use one dimensional mathematics because if we use two or three or multi dimensional maths (as used in Disc Operating Systems or DOS in computers) we would have to specify the number of dimensions used for that specific calculation.

  • adk977 (part 2)

You have ignored the operator "=". You chose to put it wherever you wanted while eliminating the dimensions. operators are the limits we put on calculations to get a concluding outcome, which is predefined and which has a specific implementation for that particular instance. Concludingly, You are 1) eliminating all the dimensions, 2) disregarding the choice of operator and 3) removing the subjectivity of calculation.

  • adk977 said: (part 3)

This can give you various results and will always differ.

The custom is not there to restrict on the way you can use mathematics, but is there to maintain the consistency of our daily interactions in terms of numbers.

  • @me3tv @me3tv now ask yourself why the consistency of our daily interactions is such a sacred subject matter that can not be changed. Consistency, stability, safety, preservation, comfort zones, resistance to change. All these things have a reason, and it seems to me there is only one reason such things exist

  • No direction still doesnt matter, your simply just re-adding the same number, thats not how math works. if you have 3A+4A you get 7A, not 10A or 11A, you dont just keepp going. Its called combining like terms so if you have 2 terms you end with one. you have no logical leg to stand on

  • also why would we need to change the rules they work! they solve the problem

  • numbers are a concept anyway

logic says that 3 ones are 3 end of !!

so what if it equals 0 what is you point what is the message nothing so shut UP !!

  • 10-12=0....

  • Ok i see the point mine is.. Dont play with your food stop it no playing with your food.

  • after the video "ok i said your bullshit now give me some liqure!"

  • 1+1=11

cause if u put the Two ones,

    You'll get 11 :) LOL

  • so funny....what is he talking about!

  • what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol!!!

  • THIS IS SO FUNNY.....

  • dude is right if u keep going in directions but that makes no sense as far as mathematics on paper for testing purposes

  • this man is wrong... he addes the smae number twice...

and btw three apples in triangle are still only three apples, not four or five...

  • a true word SirThunderbird. Adding a number twice and not removing it after already adding it is wrong, or at best just a little pseudo mathematical trick. But still kinda funny to watch. I´m in the mood for apples now

  • okay this guy is retarded if you do not eliminate the numbers when adding and add the same number twice off coarse you will get a different sum.

    if a+b+c=3 (given)

    a+b+c+a=4

he is not just changing the order. he changes the amount of times each number is added

  • The guy is correct

  • this guy is a genius

  • this is NOT profound at all he is simply wrong. He added 1+1+1 and then added the frist 1 again, so there are four ones. He then says oh three 1s equals four, NO four ones equal four, because you counted the first one twice, therefore it is (2*1)+1+1 and direction is still irrelevant. Complicated does not eqqual smart

  • @colombian800 In Soviet Russia, 1+1 equals Marx and Engels ;)

  • @colombian800 you are simply talking about linear method. for a linear method that bum is obviously wrong, but the problem here is that the bum is not talking about linear method to begin with )

  • rofl

  • he added an equal sign after he added the first numbers you cant do that like

+1+1 see there thats what he did first + 1

then after he did this +1=+1 + 1

so that is the orignal problem but you cant just add the equal sign after you add thats just retarded

  • im sorry to say that this guy has no idea of what he is saying. As true as this all sounds, it has no place in problem solving because it does not solve anything in the mathematic world

  • Yes it does! IN abstral geometry! You need to be updated!

  • That made perfect sense to me....Nothing he said was complicating at all. And he's not a jew, you can tell by his nose! :p

Notice he said "(n)umber, (o)perator." He kept spelling NO NO NO NO NO!

    Here's a question

    N + 7 = 14

    7 + N = 32

    N + N = 64

What is N? Good luck on figuring that one out.

p.s if you know how to program the least bit you'd understand what he was talking about considering there's a lot of weird math that's put into it.

  • is that even possible to figure out?

  • can this be solved ? u made me curious :)).i think it's impossible

  • n=7

    n=25

    n=32

you never said they were all the same thing :)

i think theres a way to make them all the same but i cant figure it out...

  • this is all complicated but it works completely! amazing

  • this sounds stupid but its all true

  • TOO MUCH NERD TALK!!!!!!!
