good tutorial, but oh god those click sounds are so loud and annoying (just my opinion), one question though, instead of making such a polygon heavy ball wouldnt it be better to just use a bump map to add the shape of the soccer ball to a plain old sphere?

But as a learning tut its good, you learn many things like mesh and poly deform and special function (i typed fucktion out of practice :/).

@FaNTaSTiiKHD its easy just few stps, after converting this into Editable poly you have to chose few plygons (who have 5 corners) mark them as Black (by Polygons ID) and remaining as White. after completing this ball apply (Multi) material. (white and blakc)
