To sweetbabytinkerbells: It is a live recording. The machine records the first few chords or beats, then the synthesizing machine does a "looping". And while it plays the loop of the sound, you can add on to it to sound like it its

2nd violin, or 2nd guitar, then that too is looped. Maybe this guy has a sequencer so that the looping becomes logical throughout the arrangement... you can add on nwe beats, new sounds, new chords and build it onto the previous.....
