  • Man, you did the video in flawless "Anthology" style. The animation of John's face is inspired. I don't know why you're having to defend this at all.

  • beautiful song,very very beautiful

  • INCREIBLE

  • 0:22 is that retirment hom wer gorg und paul stay at when record songs????

  • Hmmm, Yoko isn't really that ugly of a witch as I thought she was...

  • @shay5790 she has nice legs. She looks better post Beatles in my opinion

  • I know this is a fan version but it should be the official version, This sounds like a new Beatles song.

Really well made, well done and thanks for uploading this!!

  • 3:15 the background sound like "Carnival of Light"

  • @Darkthingo its actually Revolution 9

  • does not sound like the beatles...bad mix.

  • Thank you so much for this ...I'm almost speechless, moved so much all I feel I can do is kiss the sky in gratitude ...would certainly bow if not kiss your cheek for this in your presence, amazing and I'm amazed at my feelings, thank you, you, you...

  • @bojon0307 . ...... I've got an Anthology called "Now and Then" , there is this song but in a different version !

Is there a collection who contains this recording ? Surely there is !!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @charlie3684 Yeah, I'm working on that. I did a download of a couple of versions that I mixed for this, but I want to re-download (actually live-record from one Mac to the other) in stereo, replace the audio in the my original video cut for sync then replace the video on YouTube. Just been way too slammed with work to get to it...but thank you and I hope to get to is soon!

  • @charlie3684 the intro is from another fanmade version by "the virtual beatles", they did a whole record of completing Beatles outtakes. the rest is from the soundtrack of Iamaphony's series "the rotten apple".

please.....don't mistake them with the real Beatles stuff, their work on this song has not been leaked yet.

ps: search for the "gaius476" post, the intro comes from that version.

  • She had to go, I never stopped her, so now and then I miss her. RIP John Lennon, for 5 years now your music has kept me going

  • very unrated song by genius

  • i heard that lennon (i acttually already know lennon was in the 70's so scratch), McCartney, and Harrison have all died, but Starr is all there is left, is this true?

  • @JuggaloKaez216, There are only TWO remaining Beatles still alive: Ringo Starr, AND Paul McCartney.

  • Thats awesome how john Lennon is the back singing with he lips moving

  • currently the best version of this song

  • I have read that SIR PAUL and RINGO have added new parts to this song and that there is a real possibility that IT WILL be released at some time.

  • Bojon.. bojonmmy man .... shit ... who AREyou? listen, great fucking upload ... really kick the fuck ass. that last extyended note put me in beatles flash mode.

  • There were Beatles (4 moptops), then Threetles (3 salt 'n peppa haired grandads), here are the Remainles, and when there will be only one, we'll call him the Lastle...

Good tune, but the trick is too evident here ... just done to make money for the survivors and those who inherit the disappeared....

  • Kinda spooky

  • such a nice song. I LOVE THE BEATLES

  • 2 beings that gave this video thumbs down will be haunted for the rest of their short lifes. RIP John Lennon

  • @TheFlippyProductions Maybe they thought it said "dis-i-likes".

  • @LODGE4444 Hah nice one :D

  • I thought this was an actual song that just didn't make on the Anthology. But finding out someone put this together just for kicks, this is very good, my hats off to you.

  • 2:15 make me cry.. i miss you sir John

  • on la trouve que sur youtube....

  • One of his best songs, but I think he wouldn't like that his songs released under the name of the Beatles

  • @Hippie69guy If he was actually there, he would have written a new song to do with them or at least re-worked this one with them and it would have sounded much better. Actually with the anthology, I think we would have gotten a New Beatles Album if not for you-know-who (no, not Yoko).

  • Does anyone know if this song has been released in any "new compilation" or something about the Beatles????

  • Do you or anybody know were I can get a downloadsample of this masterpiece.

  • I love the video. Can you do a video like this for A Day In The Life?

  • Do you all realize that it is music and entertaining? And the whole reason is to share his message.

  • I wish Paul and Ringo will finish this song, maybe using the backing from 1995 for George, or archived stuff. Lyrics are great and this sounds good, so imagine what they could do with it. It could send the Beatles to a #1 single in 2011!

  • this song has to be about paul

  • John Lennon voice is what made me become a Big Beatles Fan ! Pauls too of course and then George and Ringo .

  • IF you guys search YouTube for "Now and Then" you will find the raw versions of the song. It IS John Lennon's voice. Look it up on Wikipedia. Again, as I have explained NUMEROUS times, the recording is a FAN version which used samples of THE BEATLES to complete the song. It was a beautiful representation and I produced the video to go with it. Let's not turn this into a Jerry Springer episode, huh?

  • @bojon0307 Beautiful video for a wonderful song. Thank you

  • @bojon0307

Do you know, where i can find original version of McCartney/Starr recover 2009?

  • @TheChooSeN13 To be honest I have not heard of this. I'll see what I can find out...

  • @bojon0307 Really this recording is a FAN version which used samples of THE BEATLES to complete the song? omg...Send me a message with that history please. We're in Latinoamerica a crazy Beatlefans but i think that nobody in my friends circle knows about this fact.

  • @syleriam There is a Wikipedia article on this. I couldn't post the link here but email me at bojon.productions@gmail.com and I'll forward you the link. I hope it helps. Thanks!!

  • @bojon0307 This i think is the saddest song John Lennon ever created, why you say, he wrote before he died and never released it or finished it, if he was alive today it would be finished. The Beatles added background vocals and other stuff to it, in memory of John. Everytime i watch this i cry :'(

  • Lol " Your the Idiot for thinking it's John " Lol " I know John lennons voice , That's his son Sean ,

  • @spazzcat03 no your more of an idiot than anyone i know

  • @spazzcat03

it is john. not sean. look it up and do your research. IDIOT

  • That is sean not john or the beatles !

  • @spazzcat03 you're an idiot

  • Thanks John, you are so missed.....you really are....

  • Relax fellas and just enjoy what hes given us thus far! Lennon is great and this remake is very good. if he has it were all jealous i would be... if he doesnt he doesnt.,... just enjoy the song and some day hell post it.

  • I love you Lennon. Happy 70th birthday.

  • I love this video, thanks for sharing with us. :D

  • it kinda made me jump at 0:18 when the face of john came out and moved...it moves! and not only that, IT FRICKIN SINGS! well it supprised me that's all

    John Lennon= Love

  • That would of been a awesome song I would love that one.

  • What albums comes this song from??

  • es como si John Lennon hubiera resucitado y estuviera cantando desde el cielo..

    ARRIBA JOHN LENNON!

  • One of the best videos I've ever seen on youtube.

  • so sad song

    genial Lennon

  • almost teared up when i saw this

  • fabuloso mi amigo, congratulations and thanks for share us!!!!

  • Great video! Amazing song! Wish this would be released....

  • how can i get this in my ipod

  • can I get this on my i pod?

  • I like that you combined Iamphoney's version and gaius476's version of the song together.

  • hey great playing, what key is this in?

  • @caulinrocker It's a fusion of two fan versions. I had since found a very clean version of Lennon's original track (without the buzzing). I wish the person/people who originally did the '95 edit would reproduce it using the clean track.

  • So let me get this straight, YOU made this music video? If so, it is outstandingly and outrageously professional. You've encompassed so much emotion in this. It isn't just a compilation of pictures, but a compilation--no, a tribute to The Beatles' lives, music and offspring. One legendary group spawning off into legendary bloodlines. Excellent work with the Lennon face. Top notch production and execution. This could have easily been featured in Anthology. Seriously, excellent work!

  • @MegaMacTV Yes. I am a film and video editor (and actor) by trade and I produced/edited this video. I found the song on YouTube (actually 2 versions which I fused into the one in the video) and took about a month looking at footage and photos. In looking back the animated Lennon could have been lessened but overall I was pleased with it. I'm really glad you enjoyed it (and it actually looks better in full HD - no surprise there).

  • This is the best video ive seen in ages. lol this is great, especially john lennon singing and the photos. You've over did your self. Keep doing great =D

  • @GJHC1 Thanks for the kind words. The Beatles have been an underlying life-long passion of mine and it was a great opportunity to express that in this medium.

  • Hey Coolmandato! John Lennon with the acoustic is from a home video that he shot of himself singing "Dear Yoko" - kind of a 'filmed demo' circa 1979.(Not sure how it 'got out there.')

  • @deepeemark This is the source. I had purchased (blindly) from eBay a DVD which was supposed to be about John Lennon in 1980. I only found out when I got it that it was hours or raw home videos taken throughout that year. Poor quality but interesting to see raw, unedited "at home" with the Lennons.

  • @bojon0307 ...yeah that is not Lennon. It doesn't look a thing like him.

  • @GarsinX It is indeed John from 1980.

  • @bojon0307 why does it only exist in these "now and then" videos then? i'd imagine it would be one of the most circulated lennon videos.

  • @GarsinX If you read my reply to an earlier post you'd know where it came from.

  • @bojon0307 likely story

  • @GarsinX So what's next...do I say "oh yea?" or then you say "So's your ol' man?" I have the DVD. Is this some way to get me to "prove it" by posting more footage? It is John Lennon, believe it or not. Unlike the Easter Bunny, who undoubtedly lives in your fantasy world, I have this and much, much more footage. Get over it.

  • @bojon0307 very easy to get over something that was never there. there is hardly any footage of lennon in 1976-1980; for you to possess the rarest of them all and not bother to let anybody else see it is not something I'm going to waste my time thinking about for more than a second.

  • @GarsinX Well since you made 4 comments thus far you've gone way beyond that infamous second. Yes, Virginia...there is a Lennon tape and I have a copy. You're bitter that I have not posted it. I have hours of John and unreleased video of him in the studio as well as singing directly to the camera "Dear Yoko" among others. It's not great quality but it's a treasure nonetheless.

  • @bojon0307 Well I believe you now that I just watched the video for I'm Stepping Out and that footage is in it.

  • @GarsinX Thanks. I'll sleep better.

  • @bojon0307 =)

  • @GarsinX what tape do you have...???

  • @bojon0307 Actually it was recorded in 1978

  • 0:14 where did you get the video of lennon playing acoustic?

  • @coolmandato It was a deepeemark said. Please see my reply to his comments.

  • @coolmandato tape of what?

  • Now I know why it wasn't released...

  • Yet another great John Lennon track that should be officially released. The guy was a genius. His music is and always will be better than any of the music that is around these days

  • excellent video..!!

i've heard this song and it's perfect..!!

  • The animation of John Lennon singing is really neat. How'd you do that?

  • @mariofarecraft2 Glad you liked it. It's a PC program called "CrazyTalk" which matches facial expressions to audio files.

  • @bojon0307 Does It Do It Automatically or do you manually do it? If manually or automatic, how long did it take?

  • songs awesome but i cant understand what john is singing is there any lyrics writin down somewhere

  • If the Beatles had finished this song in 1995, this would be their final number one hit. The song sounds like a hit in the 90's.

  • @beatlesfan1971

It was a combination of two different versions I found, one of which if known as the '95 edit.

  • I agree with you 100%. You said it so well.

  • i actually love this video <3 i love you sooo much john i cant explain <333333333333333333 Fuck Chapman!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MyStErYsK8R1308 I think you speak for all of us...

  • @bojon0307 indeed, i can't describe my hate for chapman after watching this. john lennon's death is a loss for all of us.

  • @MyStErYsK8R1308

Wow! I so agree with you. You said it so well.

  • @MyStErYsK8R1308 junaid1

    Wow! I agree with you.

    You said it so well!

  • @MyStErYsK8R1308

I agree with you 100%. You said it so well!

  • just beautiful !! makes me cry :( the lyrics are just too beautiful

  • who plays the instruments?

  • @k0stil The sound recording is a combination of two different fan versions that I edited together, the majority of which is from the better-known "95 edit" version. The "true identity" is unknown to me, but one thing I will tell you: it was brilliant.

  • @bojon0307

i`ve read on wikipedia that beatles recorded a backing track for this song in the anthology era but it was never released

  • @k0stil There was talk (and I think still is) of Paul and Ringo completing it with recordings of George's guitar.

  • @bojon0307 and also Paul is thinking of finally releasing "The Carnival of Light"......

  • yeah the intro is the 95' version and after that is the intro for the other version and then it switches back

  • Someone made this using outtakes, the Beatles never did this, they talked about it, but this was done by computer by some civilian.

  • @matt72582 Um...yeah. Never claimed otherwise.

  • Whoever put this together: Thank You

  • ótima música e perfeita montagem!!!

  • Great to hear John's voice on a song I never heard before until now. It's brilliant and Paul and Ringo need to complete it while there's still time left in their lives to do so. It brought me to tears just as 'Free As A Bird' did in '95. The influence of Beatles music in my life as well as in so many others' lives is immense and combined with my personal memories over the years can be emotionally staggering in as much as a joyful experience. Seems all greatness is taken away from us too soon.

  • Wow. What a beautiful song. I hadn't heard that one before. You're right about the drums. I believe both to be "fan versions." Thanks for sharing that!

  • Si la lanzan como single oficial...por Dios que esta cancion llega al 1# en todo el mundo...es sublime...pero le falta trabajo..espero que paul y ringo la terminen...

  • brllant

  • Thank you!

  • Every while it appears a young guy.. who is?

  • The guy of the minute 0:29, he appears more times in the rest of the video clip.

  • Again in muinute 1:46

  • It's Stuart Sutcliffe. He was originally part of the band.

  • Stu Sutcliffe (original bassist in the early Beatle days when they were a group of 5)

  • is this acctually the beatles?or just john?

  • This was John's original recording, then a "fan mix" was created by -- well, a "fan." I believe that there are some elements of Beatles recordings added (especially at the end) but I'm sure that it was not a Beatles recording ala "Free As A Bird." There has since been a "cleaned up" version of John's original recording (without the electronic buzzing noises) and I wish that the creator of this version would use it to re-mix the song. Thanks for your comment!

  • @bojon0307 ok thank you abunch! I Love this mix and i think there is an element of the beatles in here as well but either its a beautiful song

  • the song was made by john lennon

  • VERY WELL DONE- BRILLIANT

  • Thank you for the comment and the compliment. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

  • Really Well Peiced Together

  • I have a question. Is this the oficial video?

    Because, it looks too "original".

  • I'm really glad you thought so much of this video. I wouldn't call it an "official" video but it is indeed "original." I loved the song, created my own mix from two different versions and created the video to share. I am a filmmaker and love creating things like this. Again, thanks...

  • It looks like John is singing from the sky, like a God. :D

  • So amazing this video, to me is the oficial video, if there is one...

Anyway, I almost cry when I saw this video. A job very well done! Rest in peace John Lennon. In My Life, I have never listened to this nice a sad melody...

  • Very nice. Thanks for this

  • :'(

    RIP John & George.

  • Sounds like the "Now and Then I miss you" chorus had an optimistic chord thrown in. That is definitely in the spirit of the beatles. Something Paul would have done.

  • Hey lumpytrousers: That is 1980 footage of John. I do believe it's from Bermuda.

  • I didn't think so.

  • Whooo . . . where did you find the JL clips around 2:35 -2:38 !!?? I have NEVER seen any video of John like that! R-A-R-E! Is that 1980 Bermuda Footage?

  • i don't think that is him

  • FAB!

  • great video man!!! good job!!!

  • yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • great video work !

  • it originaly video?

  • Very well made videoe (: Thanks.

  • Are that the beatles????

  • Yes, but kind of the later Beatles.

Vocals and piano parts for a song called "now and then" or " I don't want to lose you" was recorded by Lennon in 1977. Later I think the remaining Beatles wanted to finish it; they added harmony vocals and instruments. I'm not 100% certain that it was the BEatles, but someone has certainly added instruments and harmony.

It has never been an official release, thats why I can't say for sure. Someone else?

  • It was a program called CrazyTalk to animate John's face. Thank you for your comments - I'm glad that you liked it. I just wish that I had rendered it in HD so it would look a little better and the details of certain part would have been more clear.

  • This video was very well made! You used the clips very well with the songs and the effects were very intriguing including John Lennon face that sang. By the way, what program do you use?

  • FANTASTIC VIDEO AND SONG! GREAT JOB!

  • Esto hubiera quedado mejor con la musica de Los Beatles. Esto sencillamente esta espantoso. Es lo peor que han hecho de los genios de la musica.

  • great song john lennon vive por siempre

  • And that "Love tripe" was produced my George Martin and his son with the Beatles' blessing. Jeez!

  • Learn your history, my friend. It was indeed a song written by John but was intended as the third new Beatles song for Anthology. The music is a combination of two "fan" versions (and done QUITE WELL I might add), but the surviving Beatles actually did work on it in 1994 and it may well be an official release later this year as completed by the now-surviving Beatles. This was just a video I produced to complement the music.

  • This is a Lennon song, not a Beatle song.

Stop reinventing The Beatles. It's this and that Love tripe. Jeez! We all love them, fine, but why keep re-inventing them every couple of years? They were the best thing to happen to music, their songs are great, but stop it, it's getting ridiculous!

  • you clearly didn't read the description

  • REALY GREAT STUFF.WELL DONE

  • Great Song!

I'm excited to buy it soon!

  • So I know there's rumors about this song finally getting released starting back when Anthology was coming out. Now they say that this song might be in The Beatles Rock Band because the game boasts about "previously unreleased material" and this is basically the only unreleased song, unless they wanted to do Carnival of Light...
