@inky960 Yeah okay, didn't know that... Nevertheless steel strings are bent heavier when you wind them up on this kind of headstock. I guess if you tried to do this with the nylon strings (which - as you may know - are thicker than the steel strings), you wouldn't have enough space left to wind enough of the string up to make sure it won't slip. A standard classical guitar has enough space to do this as the headstock is different. Do you know what I mean? I'm just talking about my experience :)
@ShiekahTribe - Right. I know what you mean. The nylon would wind into a big gob on such a small post. Wouldn't be practical, even though it might, somehow, be possible if one HAD to do it, let's say. But yeah, you're right.
@ShiekahTribe Ummm... you can get nylon strings with ball ends, and I don't see why they wouldn't wind around a vertical tuning post. I'm not saying this guy IS using nylon -- he obviously isn't, now that my sound is working properly! Ha. With my laptop speakers, they really sounded like nylon. Sheesh.
very nice man, i am trying to learn it at the moment and having it a little slower like this actually helps. tommy emmanuel is just too damn fast to follow
dont crack your knuckles if you plan on playing in old age lol

Yeah - fine playing. Cool sound, too -- are those nylon strings?

@inky960 no.

@inky960 You just have to take a look at the headstock. When there are no holes in it, it can't be nylon strings.
