You know its always the exact opposite whenever I do a Sonic V.S. Mario level 9 cpus Final Destination no items. Mario usually creams Sonic in a no items fight on that stage when he's at the same level as Sonic, I guess its because they rushed Sonic as a fighter in the game at the last minute and didn't put the time and effort they did with the other characters and that ticks Me off, as much as I like Sonic I have to say the cpu just got lucky with this win because whenever I do the *2bcont.*

Mario at level 9 with no items on Final Destination) Mario usually creams Sonic so easily it isn't even funny it has to be the most one sided fights I've ever seen take place in a video game, it makes Me wish that they had spent more time on Sonic as a fighter (where it actually mattered) I wouldn't have minded another delay if I'd have known they needed time to fix up Sonic. And it really makes Me mad at Sakurai and his team for this.

Wow. Gotta love how people are arguing over two lvl 9 computers playing each other. Fabulous. Anybody who's seriously trying to make a point about "who's better" needs a mental check. I swear, they're the same level. Odds are, the computer does pre-determine these matches because it usually just picks one during tournament mode, and I highly doubt it actually played out the match. Saying one will win more over the other is like saying you're going to get heads more than tails on a coin toss.

I'm pretty sure all of these matches are pre-determined by the computer if it's a match-up between comps. I saw a bunch of these Mario vs Sonic vids with level 9's before and Mario usually came out on top...

Honestly, I doubt this method will ever prove anything. Whether it's believed to be a fair setting or not, it's STILL left up to chance. Unless someone here can prove to me that Sonic would win 100% of the time.

Both of these guys are awful. It's surprising how slow Sonic is in Melee. Even as Super Sonic, he's slow as hell. And with his speed capabilities, you'd think he'd be able to throw a wicked punch. But no. His attacks are horribly weak.

Mario is even worse than from Melee, as he now has that stupid water cannon. Mario has NEVER had a single decent smash attack. His only real effective anything are his fireballs and his swing toss. Everything else he has is superweak.

First of all, I didn't say SONIC is overpowered. He is ok but his final smash is stronger than it should be(that's why he is cheap). His attacks are not that fast, he just runs fast and jumps high. Sonic cannot travel at the speed of light(he can travel at the speed of sound). Sonic is cool, I like him very much. He is strong but not invisible. I just prefer Mario. Sometimes Mario wins, sometimes Sonic wins.

They are both good so stop posting comments.

And um, That's the freaking point of a Final Smash. Deal with it. It's not overpowered, people just suck at dodging it. Sonic can travel at the speed of light when he is Super Sonic. Traveling at the speed of sound would almost render you invisible to the naked eye so Mario would be screwed in a realistic battle. I just prefer Sonic because he is cool, stylish, and modern. Sometimes Mario wins, but mostly Sonic wins. Sonic is the best so stop posting.
