HAHA. You sound like you have the same amount of luck as me when I'm at one of the races. I've had that happen a few times where I've moved up somewhere to get a different veiw of the racing and just seconds after I settle into my new veiwing spot, someone crashes right where I had been sitting before lol. Or I'll have the camera out getting video clips and right as I turn the camera off, something happens where it would have made an awsome video. It's a bastard when that happens.

pither doesnt deserve to have hes licence stripped.

the marshalling points up there are in a bad position.

he said he seen the flags but they were right at the accident so he had no time to react.

im sure he would have done eveything in hes power to miss, but these things happen.

just good to see that both drivers escaped resonably unharmed.

That was 9.5 seconds between Weelie coming to a stop and Pither coming onto the scene, surely enough time for another marshalling point to display the yellow (or red being in a practice session).

For the record TKR somehow managed to fix the car to make the start.....and folded a few months later.

@MHJanson The flag points were displaying yellow flags, Pither even admitted he saw them. And the marshals can't show a red until race control tell them to do so, and the radio communications obviously take more than 2-3 seconds....

I seen this unfold before my eyes and it was fucken sickening. me along with some mates were one of the first people at the barrier where weels car stopped after being crunched and we were yelling out to him asking are you alright and giving him the thumbs up. he did not move for a short time and then he must of come round and started to undo his helmut! Very lucky Boy he is !!!

It looked bad on the 7 shot, but your angle showed just how lucky those two drivers are.

Pither deserves to have his licence stripped. Brad Jones missed Paul Weel and there wasn't a yellow flag, by the time Pither came around he had the warning flag to give him extra time to slow down.
