hehehh this is funny, i wonder why the guy playing left (bass) part keeps looking up to the sheet music while there aint much change in what he plays: left hand is exactly the same whole part through.. memory problems perhaps?
earaem, if you listen carefully you will notice the issue is most important at the beginning of the main theme for the soloist, but the main problem is the piece is played too fast and ends up mechanical...
@RaWoNaGe88 i am almost able to play this piece myself =) almost everywhere octaves on the right hand which worked better out than i suspected, the only thing i really left out is the left hand octave bassline, i only play one note, instead of the lower bass as well at first of every measure.
i can play left side with one hand completely though, but i will not be able to play it without making mistakes if i have to play right side as well with one hand. i'll give a video response soon ;-)
also, this piece has no pedal markings,so i think it would sound better without the damper pedal you used.A different interpretation however is always interesting.nice camera work too.
1:40 that lady thrown that piece of music away.....

not fluid enough! it's meant to flow, not be hammered into the piano.

gli hanno tolto la poesia.... troppo tecnici e impersonali. Il pezzo è straordinario e non possiamo sentirlo suonare così....

starting in 1:46,you omitted bars 37 to 40.
also, this piece has no pedal markings,so i think it would sound better without the damper pedal you used.A different interpretation however is always interesting.nice camera work too.

She's too fast and he has to skip notes to keep up.
BlueCougar 3 years ago
Oui Oui ! Sometime she's too fast!
A big example is 0:35 and I don't even know the song so well.
But I love Branka and 4 mains ! ^^

What could you possibly mean ?
Earaem 2 years ago
@jdapena Glenn Branca also wrote the soundtrack to 'Belly of an Architect' with Wim Mertens, though.
