the dad didn't really save the world like his lying daughter claims. they lost. the bad guy got away, and he kept his whatever it was thing. all they did was beat up some goons. but they failed the main objective. evil triumphed over good

I think the saddest thing is that I don't even think they allow physical combat this intense on children's animation anymore. PERIOD.

Okay, I guess you COULD count the Murakami stuff, but really, Legion seems to shy away from it compared to what Teen Titans did. And of course, they've got the 'white flash' for every blow. Ugh.
