It's called freestyle, modern skating is a combination of freestyle and streetstyle...doing more freestyle type tricks while actually moving. by the way, you know christian slater's stunt double (rodney mullen) invented the kickflip in 1980? Crazy to think the kickflip is actually an old school trick.

@mage555 I don't need credits to tell me that's Mike McGill skating the first part, and Rodney Mullen skating the second... Style tells way more than the credits can, and it's a known fact that Hawk was never used for any stunt doubling in this. They casted him for it, then realized he was too tall.

Rodney mullen did the freestyle stuff. And I beleive Mike mcgill did the ramp and street stuff. I could be wrong but I think I read that when the movie came out.

I think in the beginning of the Film that vert skating is defenetly Tony hawk. If you look at this skate "Style" you can see it's nearly the same Skate style as Tony Hawk do.

And i think that bad ass streets skating stuff is defenetly mike Vallaley.

the same Skate style as he got.
