Why the hell is there no flash for the camera on this phone? These companies do it all the time so next year they will bring out the higher graded version to this with a flash on the camera, so anyone hooked on this and who has it will go and buy that as well. I got an Iphone 4 on upgrade the other day, Worst mistake ever, I sent it bk after 2 days after the fact you cant hold the phone in your left hand to make a call or to send send texts message because it loses signal, Its hard to believe apple are happy to release a phone with such a terrible fault...I sent it back and hopefully getting this asap

ive got the desire and i bought my girlfriend the galaxy s....i dont know what samsung have done with the "hummingbird" but, desire is just seamless and never ever slows down at all. the galaxy however does at times and can freeze for a second or two

The battery isnt amazing no. But for the standard day (when you only use it when you actually have a reason), it is plenty. today ive used it as i normally would and its still around 60% charged. When i first got the phone i was on it alllll the time doing all sorts of stuff on it non-stop, this killed the battery a fair bit and i'd have to charge it every night minimum.

Just like many other phones though tbh!

The problem with the iphone is apple are control freaks ! you have to perform a "work around" just to add things without using there software, which is far from amazing. overall the SGS gives you more freedom, some people dont like freedom and prefer a sercure system with, lets face it over 100,000 more apps than the galaxy. at a price ofc ! im sure samsung will catch up and alot of there content is free !

My friend has an SGS variant and it is amazing! Big difference from iPhone! Both are really alike though such has both have six axis sensing and 5mp camera. Xcept that iPhone does everything better :p we have a full gyroscope while they only have an accelerometer, not that big a difference unless you plan to use it as an instrument on a Boeing 747 (look up gyroscope) still bragging rights. Our camera is far superior to any android camera in the market. Megapixels don't mean shit if the quality

They are both running different operating systems. Apples/Oranges. Basically it's Windows versus Mac scenario. You either love Apple products or your do not. Everything else is not as good if you have the mindset. I do have the Galaxy S Vibrant versions and it's a great device. I would rather have a few less pixels with a 4" super AMOLED screen.
