The prophet never tortured or did anything else illegal during his time. Instead of regurgitating lies, pick up a Quran translation and Seerah of the prophet and read it for yourself and quote from that

Allah did not threaten us but jst warn us the consequences that would going to happened to the unbelievers because Allah is a just God, He dn't want us to become ignorant of His creation in order to test the human knowledge. let us ponder the laws of the state there's a criminal law, so the government for their justice and mercy to their constituent they let us knw the consequences of the bad deeds that we must avoid so that we can't go to prison or jail.
