Metallica was great, and if you're a Metallica fan it's a great choice. Though it struggles by not having the ability to get DLC other than Death Magnetic, and being an older game you may not find as many people online. It's also noteworthy that this is going to be a significantly more challenging game if you play on expert.

Guitar Hero 5 has a larger setlist for the price, and some new features and what not, and ultimately plays very well. The setlist is respectable, but lacks a lot of metal.
