they change the solos because it's much easier to just improv a solo live rather than try and hit every note exactly like on the album. If they try to do the perfect solo they will mess up.. everyone is like that. If you just improv the solo you cant really mess up cause you're changing the solo regardless. watch any guitarist live, 75% of the time they will make changes to the solo or just improv on stage.

oh i think its awesome when they play more origional stuff live and change solos sometimes and things like that, but this is obviously not that. This is just not having the ability, or not caring about playing it live. I dont know which one, but either way its not on purpose. Thats definately a mistake. And its every time. If it was purposely changed you would be able to tell, and it wouldnt sound bad. I have yet to hear them play the solo where it didnt sound like crap.
