  • that is Cherokee Shuffle. Lost Indian has different 2nd part.

  • Great tune guys!! - just great picking and singing. I love those words to it -- never heard them before.

However I would like to suggest that you are indeed playing Lost Indian but not Cherokee Shuffle (like the title says).

The Cherokee Shuffle tune came about when Tommy Jackson (OT fiddler) modified the Tommy Magness tune Lonesome Indian. (BTW, Tommy Magness was Bill Monroe's second fiddler 1940)!!

  • Great! I had a real hard time trying to understand the lyrics, but I've finally found the original title. Maybe the played musical solos are from 'Cherokee shuffle', but the sung parts are from the song "Dixieland" from Steve Earle (an interesting video from him is available on yt). As sblunderaz said, very good singing and playing!

  • very good good clean picking and singing.

  • that sounds like just cherokee shuffle to me...and it sounds so bad I can't even believe my ears! hah...just kidding...sounds good fellers!
