What a song! I wasn't expecting it to be so good, to be honest. I didn't know that Shirley could sing so well. Pepsi is a fabulous singer. Why weren't their vocal talents used more effectively in Wham?
Pepsi & Shirlie are the best duo in the world no question. Shame that the talentless Mel & Kim got in the way with their crap. Mel & Kim will never, ever in a million years be a patch on the talented Pepsi & Shirlie and that's a fact.
Not only that, but Pepsi and Shirley never failed live. They were professional backing singers after all, contrary to Mel (rest her soul) & Kim, who were hand-picked from a modelling agency. Bit like Millie Vanillie, with the exception that Mel&Kim could sing "reasonably well".
I hate MEL n KIM ;(
