and for everyone who thinks only corn tortillas are used in mexican food, actually corn and wheat tortillas are both used because they have different qualities, the corn ones heavier in texture and the nutty corn taste and the wheat ones dont break apart as easily because of the high gluten so they are usually the bigger thinner tortillas used for something such as a burrito
lol I like how all the Mexicans here are all dissing this just because its not being made by a Mexican and it's not being made in a trailer park with 40 other people and theres no road kill in this.
OK, i notice that almost all the people from US make mexican food harder than it is , enchiladas = a CORN!!! tortilla with only boiled chicken and green salsa or red salsa , tacos= a corn tortilla ( not a tostada shaped in a taco form ) filled with only beef , or another kind of meat ( to this traditionaly you can add onion, parsley , salsa , lemon) and that's it!!! xD why they complicate so much?!!!!!
@naokyuuketsuki064 well if your mexican you obviously dont know what proper mexican cuisine is. just so this doesnt take a long time im only going to correct you with the tacos, traditional Mexican tacos are made in many different forms, but you had some random fucking toppings there on yours, wtf parsley and lemon??? tacos for the meat is usually something such as carne asada then topped with guacamole, salsa, onions, and cilantro or lime, and occasionally mexican crema (similar to sour cream)
@bonehead0816 first no one in mexico put guacomele on their tacos, sour cream in mexico ans in the us is the same is not similar it's the same damn thing, yes, tacos come in only three kinds ( here in mexico ) simple tacos (2 corn tortillas) gringas ( flour tortillas) and tacos dorados ( fried tacos) , tacos dorados havee many toppings such as sour cream , salsa, onion, parsley and, lettuce. and i know all of that because i live in mexico i go to eat tacos at a taqueria
@naokyuuketsuki064 near my house every weekend , and by the way guacamole is only ate with tostadas or totopos wich are fried corn tortillas. cho knows more a gringito de mierda or a mexican?
@naokyuuketsuki064 guacamole is still a common topping for tacos, also depends where in mexi as each area does things a bit differently, and with the sour cream, i didnt say sour cream in mexico was different, i simply stated crema was similar to sour cream, and mexican crema being more common in more traditional parts of mexico, and parsley is rarely ever used, mostly cilantro.
You could save the broth that forms when you boil chicken. Skim off some of the fat....add a bit of cream or milk. That's basically cream of chicken soup (and cream of whatever soup, broccoli, mushroom etc)
thank you for this video! ive been looking at recipes all morning and this one looks the best!! i will be making this for dinner tonight. didnt think enchiladas would be so easy to make!! thank you again!

@TheGirlLovesSports
some people use sour cream or even cream cheese...it adds a creamy texture and consistency without overpowering the dish.
