You should know what you're doing before you try to show someone else. I always love it when people say, "Obviously I'm just doing this really fast and not perfect, but you get the idea." If you really knew how to do this to a good quality level, you would do it correctly, know matter how many steps it took, and then you would just show the steps and end up with something that looks good. Not a good tutorial.
