Canon FS200 Test

i got the FS300 witch is identical to the FS200, i would have got the FS200 but Canon has discontinued it. i LOVE it! only thing is the video size is 720x480p witch isent true 480p widescreen.

@xctome Yeah thats one thing I do not like. If you have a Windows computer you can import the FS300 videos into Windows Movie Maker by when you would select a file at the bottom right corner it would say "pictures and video files" click on that and go to "all files" select the camcorder video and then after you are done editing save it as "HD 720P for XBOX 360" and it will become widescreen, and it doesn't stretch it here a sample

Nah, lets just admit it. This camera is garbage. It is really fussy as to lighting before a crisp, clear picture is taken, otherwise there is LOTS of noise and artifacts in the recording...

The XP setting allows you to record to 720X480 size, but the picture is far from quality.

It amazes me that in the year 2010, we can't have a decent camera for around the $275 I paid for this cam at Future Shop.

Not impressed at all, but will function as a tide-me-over cam until an HD can be acquired.

Do you know how many hours I can rec with a 8gb memory card with the maximum quality rec mode?

YOU JUST DOWNLOAD THE CANON DISK SOFTWARE AND THEN PUT THE VIDEO ON IT `AND THEN EDIT IT IF YOU WANT AND THEN SAVE IT AND ITS GOOD....sorry for caps
