I was having the sme problem with the chod as you were letting he chod reach the buffer over the lead but the i started to put a knot in the leadcore about 12-14" above the lead and my catch rate on the chod whent up.After seeing your vid im gonna put that ring on instead i think the intergrity of the core won't be compromised buy the knot,see Ian Macmillan got a mention,go on the Stoke.

i fish a dangerous lake its free fishing and has 2 40s in it ppl fish it in day but at night there scared me and my mate did once we lit fires and was prepared with weapons nothing happened but its not a good idea to fish where thugs might rob your tackle and beat you up most of them carry knifes now also.
