  • la guitare sèche pour le flamenco ! ! !

  • i prefere listen it from the maestro but nice work can't you transcribe it and share with us juste some nice notes not the whole piece or just another vid in slow motion thanks

  • @COOOOOL578

I prefer to listen to the maestro also :-) I will try to post a short lesson for this, I've had many requests for tabs.

  • nice work but can't you transcribe it and share with us juste some nice notes not the whole piece

  • you have a very strong thumb, but how comes the other fingers are so weak, and your rasgueado is too sticky, should try to practice from slow to fast.

  • @alun1985356

thanks for you comment, yes picado needs work, the rasqueados need work too but also the webcam sound is compressed keep that in mind.

maybe you can catch some of my newer videos and listen for improvement in those areas.

  • muy bueno el video, te falta perfeccionar un poco los picados, pero esta muy bien

  • is this from the composition: fuente tobar? I think i recognize bits. I am studying fandangos at the moment and it is such a strong form, I just like to play the basic compas over and over. In this video at about 30 sec that is a great progression! I will go and practise that. cheers

  • Thanks for the great playing..

  • great performance- i find herencia latina tricky - good play

  • what guitar do you play?

  • hello. nice playing! do u know where I could find tje tabs or notes for this beautiful piece, and other paco pena repertoire as well?

  • thanks, I don't use tabs if I can help it - the easiest way for me to learn is watching videos and listening to a composition 100 times!

  • Not too shabby. How long have you been practicing this? I'm no expert, but your thumb control seems pretty good to me. Keep it up!

  • Excellent job!

  • If you learned this by ear, you must have a good sense to music. Keep up the good work! :)

  • Well then, here is a negative post. :)

I used to play rasgueos the same way you do. My new teacher said that my technique could get better, but important is to develop strong fingers as well. So do the following: put a sponge under your strings right next to the bridge, start practicing the 3 and 4 rasgueados slowly, finger by finger. Do it at least 15-20 minutes a day for warmup. You will see the difference in 2-3 weeks. Flamenco rasgueo remains precise while fast, not dizzy.

  • LOL, to me that's a positive post! I think it's a great idea.

  • Thanks clapton79, I might try that too. I think you can also fold a paper towel and have the same effect.

  • Your rhythm is allright. Your playing is quite thin, though. I have the full transcription. If you like I could give it to you.

    Mano

  • I really like this fandangos, and nice rendition. I agree with the thin playing, but that may also be because of the cam etc.

I am very interested in the transcription Mano.

  • can you please send me the tab for this?

    great job by the way!

  • sorry I don't have tabs - I play by ear most of the time.

  • most of the time I learn something from negative posts. There is nothing here unfortunately.

  • ok let me make myself clearer:

dude you are playing Flamenco, but i feel that you are afraid of the guitar , you are afraid of hitting the strings and make the sing louder, that's why the sound of the strings is muted as if there is a wet sponge at the horse...

  • You really don't have a clue. Do you?

  • WOW! you are really good! Keep up the good work

  • nice one man thats boss! im trying to learn a simpler one at the moment, real inspiring to see you! cheers for sharing and the camera angles the best ive ever seen. shit ive started now i may as well fully compliment you... azapuela or whatever is called is fantastic, mad control, rasgueado same, im jealous of your right hand stability, im struggling with that, ill do a full criticism and balance it, you end with such mad force and power id like to hear more throughout. nice one man, do more! :)

  • chaacho, de donde has sacao esa cejilla, que parece una gondola

  • LOL, still working on it :-)

  • Your picado????????????

  • sounds great man,,,great powerful rasguedos!!!

  • i love the camera angel too :p

very nice job mate, some of the picado is a bit fudged, but you got the compas down good and your alzapua it awesome, ole!!

  • thanks, picado....needs work!....like everything else:-)

  • u humble too! ;) ahaha nice nice

  • I have to say your good my friend! the Flamenco is the best music ,Ole!

  • this is phenemonal.

  • I think its Fandangos De Huelva, very hard piece. Nicely done.

  • Is there any way to get this music??

  • No, I play mostly by ear. I use Windows media player to slow down the music and get as close as I can. Thanks, D.

  • Well played, but u should practice to gain a superior level technically speaking, for you're left hand...but you kept you're rhythm and that's the most important thing for the moment,on the other side i saw you know what flamenco is from you're comments and thats great.Cheers

  • you are absolutely right about my left hand...I was a drummer for many years, so I'm having a very hard time with my left fingering and positioning and synching to the right hand....lots of mis-firing....thanks for your comment

  • Thanks for being sincere. Most of the people are obviously saying that I'm wrong, when I try to give useful advice...I think they are just blinded by their won ego and selfish character.Cheers and keep up with the good work

  • How long have you been playing? I am just studying Flamenco now,and just trying to learn some of the Flamenco techniques which you have mastered so well. Your playing is inspiring me to push harder and I hope to get as good as you are. Cheers, P.

  • Hi P, you will be amazed how quickly you can learn some techniques if you practice 2-3 hours a day for a while. But most important is understanding the Flamenco compas and feeling them. good luck.

  • Did you have to practise by playing lots of scales and specific exercises, or was it enough to just play pieces that you liked? I'm still trying to find a good approach to improve in flamenco...

  • yes, this is good, here I am watching it again! ole!

  • very nice!!!!

  • oleeee!

    well played that was superb!

  • awesome sound!! do you have the tabs??????

  • thanks, sorry this is played by ear from falsetas that are pretty common on Paco Pena's cds.
