I'm based in Ely, so most of my trout fishing is in stocked lakes for stream trout. There are some streams with wild brookies, but they are difficult to fish. If its wild brookies your after, in the Arrowhead Region, I'd check into some of the streams along the N. Shore of Superior. Good luck!
