No, this is not a good film at all. Like the book, it has the problem of a dramatic first half and a wearisome second half, mostly in the courtroom. The film's production history was slow and tortuous, involving a number of writers and film-makers who should have known better.

This is a terrific adventure film -- even scary in parts -- and very hard to find. I wish someone would post the entire movie. But please know I appreciate seeing the trailer!
