1) iPhone in quel momento ha ricevuto anche una mail e quindi è ovvio che doveva caricare più roba. Test non perfetto quindi.
2) non si mettono vicini attaccati i telefoni se si vuole fare il test più accurato possibile: questo perchè si rischiano di creare interferenze che un telefono può risentire più di altri. Staccateli di 2cm la prossima volta. ciao.
per lo zoom c'è da considerare che il desire riadatta tutto il testo per essere leggibile utilizzando solo scroll up/down mentre l'iphone no. Viene tutto reincolonnato ed è molto utile specialmente quando si leggono articoli di una certa lunghezza
I owned a HTC Desire HD. So far it is great but it does slow down and crashed a couple of times only. Still, I would buy it again if I had to! To all the others who don't like HTC, think again cos all smartphones does freeze sometimes! So just dont point the fingers at HTC. None use intel multi-threading processors like the ones in our laptops! Cheers

Il display del HTC Desire (e di altri dispositivi) per la sua struttura tende ad avere predominanze cromatiche rosa quando ripreso in alcune circostanze. Lo stesso vale per altri smartphone: un esempio lampante è dato proprio da questo stesso video, nel quale iPhone sembra avere lo schermo azzurro.
Nella realtà, nella visione diretta, HTC Desire non ha mai questa predominanza cromatica.

You are talking with a Diamond2 owner, that's seeing his device at the end of its life (not hardware, but sofware of course!)... the last WM 6.5.5 device will be the HTC Oboe... after that... HTC will dismiss the production of WM devices, producing other Android and Windows Phone devices.
@RibenaFanta i have tmobile htc hd2. although it is still one of premium devices out there with soft materials with metal. It feels really solid than htc evo. But to tell you, it was the 1st 4.3 inch screen, 1st to get 1ghz snapdragon processor and 1st to have sense ui. Because of being 1st, it is also the oldest out of all newer devices. And i am ready to change with windows phone 7 since i can't upgrade.

the iphone 3gs is a good phone, I own one but my bro has the HTC Desire. I have to admit his phone is better, it just reacts faster and has a more open and slicker operating system. Have to see what the iPhone 4G is saying though, but I guess when that comes out then a new HTC android will come out... unfair to compare the Desire to the iPhone 4G which doesn't even exist! LOL
The reason the HTC Desire's multi-touch and double tap function seems a little choppier than the iphone is that on the HTC when you tap/zoom in on the screen the text size automatically adjusts so that you can see everything on the screen without having to scroll over. I like it :-)

Im NOT an Apple fan, however Ive had an iPhone 2g 16Gb for a year now & I have to say that its superb. I didnt realise how good it was/is until I recently upgraded to the HTC desire.The Desire is a wonderful phone, great screen, great look. BUT for sheer useability, reliability the iPhone is superior.
The Desire lacks intuition whereas the iPhone intuitively responds to my needs.
Video & music on the Desire is good but clunky. The App market is a minefield of garbage that will ruin your phone.
i had the iphone 3g not the os, but it seem to be more better than the htc desire i have now, it is more bulky,too many buttons, the fingerprints are harder to wipe than in iphone, its more slower than iphone if there is no wireless present, i liked iphone having so many pages wheras in htc only 4-5 pages available and some are occupied entirely by a single app, and can only be tilted oneside unlike in iphone can be tilted bothways. hopefully i will like it...... coz wanted a change

Well, When I connect my desire to my P.C I just open up the the external memory folder and my apps just happen to be there e.g whilst transferring MP3's I noticed "Space Physics" just sitting there.
Thanks for the info. Usually android phones don't allow us to install apps to external memory so it'll be installed in the pathetic low internal memory. Urs is a special one, but i'm sure to find android 1.6 and try again. Hope it works for me.
I have a 3GS, but cannot wait to get a HTC Desire. I even have a macbook.. but you can even play mario on HTC straight away no hacks with NESOID and SNESOID.. The background wallpapers are amazing and the screen makes the iPhones screen look cheap. Even though the 4GS has comparable specs to the desire, the Desire is so sexy in your hand. Just try it and explore the too many options.. AND IT HAS FLASH!!

@GarebearShields If we compare iPhone 4 to Samsung Galaxy S, it's no match. Apple's A4 chip runs on the same architecture as the Samsung Hummingbird Chip on the Samsung Galaxy S, and we don't even know the Clock rate on the iPhone 4.
Currently Super AMOLED is the most advanced screen available in the market, high resolution =/= great display.
iPhone 4 cannot use 3G to video call, whilst the Samsung Galaxy S can do.
Samsung Galaxy S has 5 megapixel 720P video camera as well, no video editor.

@keeeni92 desire is just a less expenive version of the old nexus one.. not more advanced in any way.. even less advanced than nexus one. New android phones have more advanced cpu setup.. like droid x and galaxy s.. better at games++ but desire with froyo will beat iphone 4

Else: you see 8 pages open in iPhone, but you don't see the pages open in Desire, with Exchgange syncronization, Gmail downloading, a Calendar alarm in background, a wake up alarm... :]

You are talking with a Diamond2 owner, that's seeing his device at the end of its life (not hardware, but sofware of course!)... the last WM 6.5.5 device will be the HTC Oboe... after that... HTC will dismiss the production of WM devices, producing other Android and Windows Phone devices.

@RibenaFanta i have tmobile htc hd2. although it is still one of premium devices out there with soft materials with metal. It feels really solid than htc evo. But to tell you, it was the 1st 4.3 inch screen, 1st to get 1ghz snapdragon processor and 1st to have sense ui. Because of being 1st, it is also the oldest out of all newer devices. And i am ready to change with windows phone 7 since i can't upgrade.

@RibenaFanta I don't know if you have chosen yet, but I wouldn't go for the HD2 because of Windows Mobile and it gets very slow and it needs restarts now and then. I would go for the desire (of even the HD)

@Fillepojken HTC edges the iphone4 in terms of spec, multitasking etc. and im sorry but whilst the app store may have like 200,000 apps or whatever, half of them are on the Android store, whereas the Android apps market has like 90,000 apps or something, with hundreds being added everyday. Sooner or later people are gonna realise that android is the way forward and see that whilst the iphone is technically great - but not revolutionary or unbeatable though, as some people claim it to be.

the iphone 3gs is a good phone, I own one but my bro has the HTC Desire. I have to admit his phone is better, it just reacts faster and has a more open and slicker operating system. Have to see what the iPhone 4G is saying though, but I guess when that comes out then a new HTC android will come out... unfair to compare the Desire to the iPhone 4G which doesn't even exist! LOL

The reason the HTC Desire's multi-touch and double tap function seems a little choppier than the iphone is that on the HTC when you tap/zoom in on the screen the text size automatically adjusts so that you can see everything on the screen without having to scroll over. I like it :-)

Im NOT an Apple fan, however Ive had an iPhone 2g 16Gb for a year now & I have to say that its superb. I didnt realise how good it was/is until I recently upgraded to the HTC desire.The Desire is a wonderful phone, great screen, great look. BUT for sheer useability, reliability the iPhone is superior.
The Desire lacks intuition whereas the iPhone intuitively responds to my needs.
Video & music on the Desire is good but clunky. The App market is a minefield of garbage that will ruin your phone.

i had the iphone 3g not the os, but it seem to be more better than the htc desire i have now, it is more bulky,too many buttons, the fingerprints are harder to wipe than in iphone, its more slower than iphone if there is no wireless present, i liked iphone having so many pages wheras in htc only 4-5 pages available and some are occupied entirely by a single app, and can only be tilted oneside unlike in iphone can be tilted bothways. hopefully i will like it...... coz wanted a change

With Android 2.2 Froyo, that will be released for HTC Desire and Google Nexus One, and some other Android 2.1 smartphones.

Well, When I connect my desire to my P.C I just open up the the external memory folder and my apps just happen to be there e.g whilst transferring MP3's I noticed "Space Physics" just sitting there.

Thanks for the info. Usually android phones don't allow us to install apps to external memory so it'll be installed in the pathetic low internal memory. Urs is a special one, but i'm sure to find android 1.6 and try again. Hope it works for me.

I have a 3GS, but cannot wait to get a HTC Desire. I even have a macbook.. but you can even play mario on HTC straight away no hacks with NESOID and SNESOID.. The background wallpapers are amazing and the screen makes the iPhones screen look cheap. Even though the 4GS has comparable specs to the desire, the Desire is so sexy in your hand. Just try it and explore the too many options.. AND IT HAS FLASH!!

@GarebearShields If we compare iPhone 4 to Samsung Galaxy S, it's no match. Apple's A4 chip runs on the same architecture as the Samsung Hummingbird Chip on the Samsung Galaxy S, and we don't even know the Clock rate on the iPhone 4.
Currently Super AMOLED is the most advanced screen available in the market, high resolution =/= great display.
iPhone 4 cannot use 3G to video call, whilst the Samsung Galaxy S can do.
Samsung Galaxy S has 5 megapixel 720P video camera as well, no video editor.
