@paulmaggi hey paul thanks for the comment! Ive been playing for about 6 or 7 years now. I started out playing the basic rock songs I heard on TV but then about a year later I found tommy on youtube and thats when i started fingerpicking. Have you tried playing with a thumbpick? It might be easier to transition that way
SAFe dude! did you work this out from the tallstrom original? or did u manage to get hold of a tab>? you play it really well! is there any posibility of you sending me it? much appreciated xx
Martin Tallstorm has published a free tab pdf file in his website. Check out his version of this song here in youtube and in the descripsion there is a link to his website
REally nice, Scott. Flows beautifully as always with what you play. I never heard the tune, but glad to hear it now! Thanks for posting. If that's only 2 weeks, can't wait to hear it in a year! Awesome! Bunny
For some the difference is not important so it wouldnt be worth it to them. But to me the change is really big. And besides what else do you have planned for the 35 dollars. A voilinist's bow can cost thousands on its own... what is a few dollars for pick in comparison?
Thanks, it started out as an "exercise" of arpeggios for the C major (add9), Em and Am and then one thing led to another... :)
But I´m really glad you like it!
You know, I really love solo fingerstyle guitar, but there´s still a part of me that wants to orchestrate/ produce the songs, with a lot of multi-tracking - there´s a certain "sound" I´m looking for... (Somebody stop me! :)
@pinofluvius Martin as possibly 1 of your biggest fans.... I have to ask ppl not to take your advice and make sure no1 stops you from finding the "certain sound" you mentioned. I'd instead beg you to keep trying to find it because whenever you do and whatever it is, we all know its going to be amazing! So please ppl lets force Martin to find it lol
What is the tuning for this? I tuned all down half a step but it doesn't sound right...

You're as smooth aaaand as clean as Tommy.... Great !!!
How long have you been playing? Did you start fingerpicking out of the gate?
I've been playing jazz and blues with a pick for 30 years and I feel as if I'm learning guitar all over with fingerpicking....

Hey scott, I've had a look at the bluechippick website. Are they really worth the money and why are they?
Cheers
Cezarguitar 2 years ago
to me they definitely are worth the money!
1. Dont wear down at all
2. Much warmer yet cleaner sound
3. NO STRING NOISE/FRICTION
For some the difference is not important so it wouldnt be worth it to them. But to me the change is really big. And besides what else do you have planned for the 35 dollars. A voilinist's bow can cost thousands on its own... what is a few dollars for pick in comparison?
Let them know you saw it on my videos

You should definitely go for it., you have the musical talent. All your recordings sound really professional also. Do you play any other instruments?
