  • How did you get these? it says they're unavailable on the site.

  • How'd you think this was a good idea? I still have no idea what-so-ever about the sound of those speakers, 'cause all I heard was the sound of my 5.1 Logitech system...

  • @no1joey whered you order them from because they have been discontinued for almost 1 1/2 years

  • The speakers are touch sensitive?

  • No offence but did you really think this out.

Your testing speakers which are gonna go through your mic and into OUR speakers/headphones.

  • just checked the price's from this system and its more expensive than the Logitech Z5500 which is a 5.1

  • Good video these speakers are one of the nicest 2.1 systems i plan to get a set but they are $599.00 AUD so maybe i will have to save up lol.

  • wow man fuck me these sound soo gooooood

  • ur taste in music is awful

  • That was completely pointless you just played your speakers in a video that we heard through our terrible speakers so you just decided to play shitty music for 30 seconds to waste the our time

  • i want these things so bad lol

  • looks nice, but for gaming any headset is better than any speaker setup, so i dont know the point of having speakers is anymore, i dont even have my hooked up. -_-

  • seems to me like this speaker is awesome for gaming but nothing more...the way those speakers all blast sound down on your table and bounce back up you will not be able to get very crisp high notes for music. i think imma stick to my altec lansing speakers...these are a little too big of an investment anyways...

  • EuuuWWW mac <=/

  • looks cool but so not worth the money...AT ALL...i have creatives i paid £45 about $80-85 and they woop the ass of those speakers.

  • LOL MAC.

    seriously.

  • @zomgerln anything wrong with that besides the fact that macs arent gaming platforms?

  • @h4x0y I just donät like them because they're mot general enough, they're really great for editing abut not rally anything else and all the good looks and gadgets tend to eat a lot of performance even on idle.

  • @zomgerln thats not really true, OSX Snow Leopard is a really stable and mostly efficient OS, getting the most out of the hardware having the lowest power consumption possible, its extremely user-friendly interface makes it better at everyday tasks, except gaming because it doesnt have gaming-grade gpu's, but thats really it gaming is about the ONLY thing macs arent good at.

  • @h4x0y I wasn't talking about stability, they eat performance like there's no tomorrow so it doesn't matter if it gets a lot out of its hardware, most of it is taken up by the aero and al the pretty looking stuff.

Besides, it's easy to find your way around a windows as well as long as you're not completely retarded.

    And not versatile enough.

  • @zomgerln i can assure you its not the aero theme making pc's slow, it's all about how efficiently the OS is written. vista's kernel really sucked which is partly fixed in windows 7 (which runs almost as fast as XP with even better visuals than vista) but still OSX snow leopard is kickass, and the tiny problem that it doesnt support much games can easily be solved with parrallels+windows.

  • @h4x0y uh oh, fanboy.

It shits on your performance, it's not upgradable, if one thing breaks you're fucked and it only excels at editing things.

Mac is is a cruel joke made by designers for designers.

  • @zomgerln well youre not so easily fucked since the fail rate of a mac is much lower than that of pc's and then there's the awesome apple care support. it doesnt shit on your performance since apple doesnt sell crap hardware and the OS is kickass. and people other than gamers dont really need that frequent upgrading, not just talking about designers (just a fraction of all mac users). you just get a new one every 4-5 years. the fanboy thing is questionable since i own a pc and no mac

  • @h4x0y you sound like a zealot.

I've never crashed with a windows.

It barely matters what hardware you have, apples functions that run when idle eat it.

I just update my pc, after using my last one for 7 years, and it didn't break or crash once and I game a lot.

also, macintoshes have shit price to performance ratios, true story.

Also, PC is personal computer, not another word for windows.

  • @zomgerln well i've gamed alot too and i have my "pc" for almost 4 years now and i've got a shitload of problems. "PC", i know it means personal computer, but it NEVER indicates a mac. in fact its always used to indicate a windows based system. furthermore what you dont get is that its not all about the hardware when you buy a mac, there are some other things you pay for which make it almost impossible to say how much you're actually paying for just the hardware.

  • @h4x0y if you don't pay for performance you're a shithead, it's all that matters in a PC. And if you buy a pre assembled computer you're retarded.

Maybe because windows rules the market.

windows is able to to what a mac can and everything else, unfortunately, this doesn't apply to the mac.

  • @zomgerln ok i'm a shithead but let me explain why thats good. besides the performance, you get awesome bundled software (like iMovie, iPhoto, GarageBand) with which you can do awesome stuff (especially recording music which i like). thats better than calculator, wordpad and paint. then theres the design, 21.5/27" 1080p/1440p LED displays, aluminum unibody, no pc case, just 1 (!) calble needed (power), the magic mouse and green production process/recyclable. u see theres more than performance.

  • @h4x0y The failure rate when I use a Mac is higher, haha. I am not going to bash Macs but they just aren't my thing. The one I use at work always gives me a hard time.

  • @h4x0y My main problem with using a Mac is that they think they are making things efficient but they are actually doing the opposite. Sitting down at a computer for the first time you would have a harder time learning a Mac. I am not saying that they are not efficient for a regular user just for a new user. Sorry for sounding like I am bashing Macs but I just hate having the one I use at work crash almost every day.

  • @DamynSmith that unfortunately what we call bad luck, same here my windows computer crashes about 5 times a day (unexpected reboots caused by various hardware/software problems). The failure rates of your mac aswell as my pc are far higher than average...

  • @h4x0y Can't we just call a truce and say all operating systems suck? Wait I think I hear the Linux fans coming.

  • @DamynSmith lol thats 100% true, all existing operating systems have their downsides, and this also applies to linux users who may have already aimed their guns to us.

  • @DamynSmith furthermore i dont really get why you say its easier to learn a pc, i think its up to personal preference but i actually agree with most people who say macs work as you should expect a computer to work. the dock works really simple and you dont even have to install applications. also, all system preferences are put together in one app, and there are some convenient apps for everyday tasks that pc's lack.

  • TomS64, that is some garbage shit you listen to at home, but you're an apple user so I guess it's no surprise.

  • play throw it up i wanna hear the bass really play

  • Does they work good?;p

  • its electRic city...

  • im using an edifier speaker now...and i ALREADY could feel the bass from here...wow the mako would be 2X better

  • It doesn't seem to sound that loud, allthough the volume pad turned red. However, the sub is fantastic. I'm thinking of buying the Mako 2.1 or the Logitech Z-2300 and I want to see which of those 2 sound louder.

  • maybe its his recording unit's recieve volume or his music player volume?

  • maybe

  • It wasn't all the way up, only half of the potential volume was used.

  • From the pc's volume, right? Now it makes sense

  • i wasn't thinking that the Mako's sub is gonna be that fantastic. But honestly speaking, you are using I guess just a regular mic to record it. And the Mako's sub is playing through my sub like mad.

And the sound is just awesome.

  • that "faggy" music is just a song he probably used to show bass. so go fuck yourself with a flagpole. Have a good fucking sir.

  • @zomgwtfbbqbagel you would be surprised how many bad songs are great bass tests

  • whats up with the faggy music

  • @TheBlitz1 Its Test Music... Just because it isnt Metal or whatever you listen to, does not mean its faggy..lol. Random Songs can be used for Testing

  • perty geee

    peeeertttty

    geeeeeeeeeee

  • @TheBlitz1 What?

  • at least this video had better songs than others playing faggot folk pop with no bass

  • @leoncarbon sight

    i suppose

  • @leoncarbon hey whats wrong with folk music some is actually good

  • @zapper922 we want to hear the quality of the bass of the speakers...there is no point using folk pop as a sound test =P this one was a little bit cheezy but it did give me a feeling what the mako's bass was like

  • im getting these soon whats the sub like and the sound quality?

  • thx 4 posting this soundtest. it is very convincing

    ***thumbs up***
